Basically, the Taylor Swift of the 1990s. Is that an accurate statement?

I don't think Taylor Swift would go down on me in a theater.
shareNo. That is not an accurate statement in the least.
shareTaylor Swift does not seem to be popular here. She has zero sex appeal with the former generation. Yet she is the biggest star of this age. Isn't it ironic?
shareDon't you think? I don't think there's many teenage girls on Moviechat posting about Taylor. Alanis is/was much more talented.
shareWhat's ironic is that almost none of that song's examples are really ironic, you know? And yeah, I did say that she had no appeal with the former generation. But you had to jump in with the follow up, I guess.
shareYeah, I think I read somewhere being 20 at the time she really didn't know the true definition of the word.
shareUh, I think the dude who was afraid to fly in a plane, because he thought the plane was gonna crash (which is implied), who finally gets over his fear of flying, only to book a flight which then crashes, is ironic, right?
shareAs Luffy said "almost none of that song's examples are really ironic."
shareNah, that would probably be Britney Spears. She's more like Lorde, had some amazing hits at the start and then just kind of faded out of the scene.
shareWhile I don't care for Swift's music she is talented and writes her own music. IMO Jagged Little Pilll is an excellent album- so good that it doesn't even matter what Alanis did afterwards.
shareTaylor has been around since 2009 at least. Alanis had that one big album in 1995, but her career didn't stay that high
shareNo. Alanis was a better songwriter.
shareNo it's not as she only had one famous album.
