It seems Homelander is being driven by pure personal desire rather than any idea of what's right, and his lackeys are playing along for self-preservation reasons. Our 'heroes' show that they each have lines that they know they should not cross, and the show depicts when those characters cross those lines. What I see is a mix of good and bad, idioms like "you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs" being proven, etc.
The listed cast made me lol.
It was an opportunity for divide and conquer- racially, gender-wise and sexual-preference-wise.
I can't argue.
They're much easier to manipulate. This woman didn't achieve this solely through ignorance, she was under orders.
Well it's definitely censorious. It reeks of desperation of course, a last plea destined to go unheard I suspect.
