She may have gotten away with a lot of shit in LA, but this time, even the left-wingers who voted her into office aren't gonna let her off the hook for this.

I mean, she first took away money (over $17 million from what I heard) from the fire dept. to fund the police (when she could have gotten the money elsewhere), so the fire-fighters didn't have the resources they needed for this disaster.

Plus, her local govt. does nothing to clear out the brush up on the hills overlooking the city, the very spots where fires tend to occur anyway every summer.

And then she's nowhere to be found when this disaster occurs, and is away in GHANA promoting diversity while the city burns?! What the hell?!

The fact that a number of those celebrities (and probably a few politicians) lost their homes to this fire disaster (and I don't doubt some of them have the ears of people with clout) means that it doesn't matter what happens in the next local city election, this bitch is finished. Even the stupid voters that put her into office are not gonna forgive her for letting them lose their homes and lives like this.

It wasn't her skintone that was the biggest issue. She's basically an idiot who was only chosen because there was a "D" next to her name, and there is serious voter apathy in that region of CA. That, and who ever elevated her to that position probably needed a DEI puppet to be their front woman and fall-girl for later.
