Naomi Scott did well; but too much repetitiveness They should’ve cast M Night Shyamlam’s daughter Indications that Tom Hagen wasn't a war-time consigliere New album out now Vito and Michael compare & contrast: why Michael turns out worse Her new single drops to #58 in 2nd week Her song with Bruno Mars isn’t bad PG Rating? Disagree. The movie is cartoonish. Pesci’s character is way over the top I think the problem is that Liam Neeson keeps making these action movies to the point where every one of them blends into each other. It’s hard to differentiate them now 4.5 out of 10 is solid / watchable? He was a better champ than Diesel and Michaels from that era Her actual singing wasn’t showcased too much in the movie Maybe Morris’s idea could work if actually done? .. I hope the sequels actually explore ways to fight back against the smiling demon. Give the protagonists a chance The movie over-did with the hallucinations to the point of repetitiveness. At the end, people are wondering what parts were legit and which parts were not (eg was Morris actually there?) That’s my feeling at the end too. The movie got repetitive with the various hallucinations followed by Naomi Scott’s wide-eyed facial expression and screaming. There was never a sense that she had a chance at any time. It was just the demon toying around with her for 2 hours Even if the demon’s hallucinations can’t actually harm her, they can inflict pain that feels 100% real when it’s happening. That’s why she runs and screams I think we’re led to believe that Morris wasn’t actually there. He was a projection created by the demon. In the nightclub, nobody pays to attention to him when they get excited to see Naomi Scott. And he just disappears at the end. The demon reveals that there is no needle, as none of it is real I think Morris wasn’t actually there View all replies >
