Have you ever seen the same movie twice in the same day?

I've never done it, but I have seen it once on consecutive days.

reply

I seem to remember seeing Prisoner of Azkaban in the theater twice in the same day.

reply

I've only seen it once in theatre.

reply

Not that I recall. Consecutive days is a possibility, though. I've no idea what the movie might have been.

reply

Me too. I've done consecutive days a few times with Fargo, Magnolia, and American Beauty.

Yes, but only once. In college I watched 2001: A Space Odyssey with a friend at the local cinema. Then we watched it again. But then it is the greatest film of all time imho. And no, I was not stoned.

2001 TWICE IN A ROW?...I THINK I WOULD PREFER A BACK TO BACK GHOSTBUSTERS 2016 SHOWING.🤔

reply

That's why they make chocolate and vanilla, Bubba.

reply

Why would I think you were stoned for watching a great movie?

reply

I THOUGHT HE WAS.🙂

reply

I've heard a lot of people talk about that.

I'm not sure. We watched Jane Eyre (1996) in a high school English class, I liked it and borrowed the DVD from my teacher, and showed it to my family. Maybe the same day, or a few days later.

Consecutive days: probably Home Alone (1990) or How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000).

reply

WHEN I WAS,MAYBE 11 OR 12 I CHALLENGED MYSELF TO ONLY WATCH HOME ALONE ALL SUMMER LONG...I LOST COUNT,BUT IT WAS WELL OVER 100 TIMES.

reply

Woah. Still not nearly as insane as 88cubs watching Titanic everyday for a 1000 plus days.

reply

YEAH...THAT GUY GETS THE GOLD FOR SURE.

Just kidding.

KEEP THE CHANGE,YOU FILTHY ANIMAL.

reply

I could actually probably name a lot of movies I saw consecutive days when I was a kid.

reply

HOME ALONE MANY TIMES ONE SUMMER WHEN I WAS YOUNG,WATCHED IT OVER 100 TIMES,SO SAME DAY HAPPENED A LOT...AS AN ADULT I ALWAYS HAVE WAY TOO MANY TITLES IN MY TOO WATCH PILE TO GET HUNG UP ON ONE DISC...HOWEVER FOR WHATEVER REASON...GREAT MOVIE OR GREAT POT...MAYBE BOTH?...I WATCHED BAD BOYS FOR LIFE BACK TO BACK THE DAY I REDBOXED IT.

reply

I haven't watched that yet. I rewatched the first with my brother(he had never seen it) , now I have to watch number 2 again before watching for life. But I remember not being the biggest fan of number 2, so I'm procrastinating.

reply

SAME...I LOVED THE FIRST AND WAS KIND OF MEH ON THE SECOND...FOR WHATEVER REASON,I HOPE ITS QUALITY,I REALLY LIKED FOR LIFE.

reply

I might just skip number two and go straight to 3. It's hard to convince my brother to watch movies I like, and he has control of the big tv right now, it will be a hard sell for him to want to watch 2 bad boy movies in a row.

reply

ROHYPNOL...ITS NOT JUST FOR DATE RAPE.😉

reply

Haha. I don't need that. Once we start drinking he passes out pretty quicksmart, he can't really hang. But I find movies are more enjoyable watching with others. It's just hard to find others who can sit still long enough these days.

reply

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM...LUCKILY I PARTICPATED IN MAKING A DAUGHTER...SHE HAS BECOME MY BEST FRIEND AND MOVIE WATCHING/COLLECTING PARTNER.

reply

No one to watch movies with? Just create one!

reply

It's probably the weed.

reply

IM SURE IT HELPED.

reply

Yeah sure, when I fall in love with a film, I fall hard.

reply

Do you "Fall Hard: With a Vengeance", "Live Free or Fall Hard" or is it "A Good Day to Fall Hard"?

reply

With a vengeance 🦂

reply

I'm sure there are people who went to see the 1977 Star Wars movie multiple times a day in theaters
