Have you ever seen the same movie twice in the same day?

I've never done it, but I have seen it once on consecutive days.

15 years old. A friend and I got dropped off at our local mall and we went straight to the theater to see Terminator. Had to be sneaky because of the R rating.
When it was done, we walked out the back door stunned. We could not believe what we just saw. We went right back to the box office and payed to see it again (less than $2 IIRC). Felt stupid for not just staying in the theater but we hadn't yet decided to see it again.

Once VHS became a thing I know I watched Star Wars and ESB twice in a day for sure. Same with Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Jackie Chan's Fearless Hyena was so much fun to watch that I immediately took it over to a friend's house to show him. Same thing with Ninja Scroll.

EDIT: I didn't mention the movie was Terminator. duh! fixed

I can imagine a lot of people had multiple viewing of movies when they were kids. I probably did it with Jurassic Park but I don't remember.

Platoon (1986) Three times.
First viewing with Capt Dale Dye's commentary, Then again with Oliver Stone's and third time with just the default audio

Anyone who watches TBS on Christmas will answer YES to this question.

reply

True.

I used to watch Home Alone and the animated Robin Hood Disney movie on repeat.

reply

I'm sure a lot of people have done it with Home Alone.

reply

Yes!

I have been laid up at home due to a back injury for the last few days. I watched the Irish comedy "Derry Girls" twice yesterday(2 seasons, 12 episodes) I liked it so much, I might give it another go later after the Masters

reply

Wait, you saw 24 episodes in one day?

reply

Yeah. They are only about 22 minutes long though. It's set in the 90s, so there's a nostalgia/comfort quality to it.

reply

That's dedication.

reply

No, but as I get older it's bound to happen eventually.

reply

Nope, but I've read the same book twice in a day, in one sitting.

reply

I've read a book twice in one day as well. It sucked the second time because I already knew where Waldo was.

reply

I know. You need to give him a few days, so he can look for a new place to hide.
