Can't really blame the actors/actresses for this one. I think Boll was trying to capture the stereotypical video game voice acting, for some strange reason.

Just finished watching, and my first thought was they were both sexually abused when they were younger, and thus that's why Sissy cut and was probably relatively promiscuous (although it doesn't really highlight it so much in the film), and Brandon drowned his sorrows with sex.
It seemed pretty large to me!
It's very 'jumpy' at both the start and end of the movie, yes. And yes there are a lot of characters so it's difficult to keep up with who is who, but watching the movie all the way through you start to remember the important characters.
SPOILER: I thought Jericho was their dead dad and he would hand Sienna the sword at the end to kill Artemis. Turns out he just worked on the psych ward!
It looked like their entourage was ambushed in the woods.
Edit: And yes it looks like she took poison so she wouldn't be captured alive.

For 1985 it was probably pretty huge shock value, definitely. But it doesn't quite hold up today purely in terms of that shock factor. I think a lot of people on YouTube were hyping this up as some really disturbing, shocking movie and by today's standards it isn't.
It is bad when you realize this sort of thing did actually happen IRL, of course, but in terms of the delivery of the movie itself (bar the fact it happened in real life), it wasn't shocking in the moment. I do agree with the 8/10 on IMDB though, it certainly tried to be different which I can appreciate.
For 1985 it was probably relatively shocking. By today's standards it's fairly tame but it does give a good incite into what actually happened to people in Russia back in WW2 times.

They hid him for the entirety of Awakening and you're expecting to see him in Blood Wars then you find out near the end of Blood Wars he was killed by some no-name Lycan? EH?! Definitely considering every character seems to be invincible to everything. Crappy writing, imo. Yes, would have definitely been better if he had actually made a return. Definitely won't be watching anymore of these even if they release more, they should have stopped after RotL.
Thank God, they really need to let this series die. 1, 2, 3 were good but the others really weren't very good.

Damn it was SO cool back in the day. I was relatively young when it was released in theatres but a lot of the older kids at school were talking about it. I don't think I finally watched it until a few years later when it came out on VHS (or maybe DVD, one of the two). That's classic 90s/early 00s for you though, everything was maximum hype because no/limited internet exposure.
Yes you're probably on to something there. It did seem extremely amateurish compared to the first three.
