Of all of those you mentioned, Atomic Blonde is the best one in my opinion.
But for Scarlet Johansson you picked Ghost in the Shell? Black Widow would have been my choice because shes a human woman doing crazy superhero things. At least in Ghost in the Shell shes almost entirely cybernetic in form and perfectly explains how she is a nigh indestructible warrior.
as for the rest that I have watched, I think Domino was just awful and will never warrant a rewatch for me. If anyone wants a really fun and entertaining female bounty hunter movie they can watch One For the Money starring Katherine Heigl. Soooo much better than Domino! I think another funny part is the fat kid with braces and short spiked bangs (Cody maybe?) is actually making out with one of the pretty girls right on the dance floor as Tony pulls the plug and tells everyone to go home XDDD

I felt that as well. My first viewing I was like "Yep, Howard has no male competition now that Emmetts gone and no one to stop him from forcing himself on her". I think the filmmakers knew that was a good subtle message that Howard will be trying something on Michelle soon. Didnt need any dialog and yet we immediately felt uneasy by that slight change in appearance! He went from grumpy mean Dad to unstable sexual predator just like that.
It was popular because the bread is tasty and it was CHEAP! It was a good place to go for getting kids a meal.
Nowadays I prefer Burger King as to me the bread tastes more satisfying, like it actually makes you feel full. Also last time I checked Burger King actually had some value options worth getting whereas the "mcdouble" has become more expensive and less meat on the thing making it no longer worth its price.
If I wanna get a big burger for a good price I go get the Sonic burger as its 6 dollars and change and its a decent sized burger for a good price and tastes good! All the other places where you spend more for a burger hasnt been worth its price.

The Nice Guys is a movie I enjoyed and rewatched several times. I like Russell Crowe in it the most though. His story about being "the diner guy" and how he ends with saying "I just felt like for once in my life, I actually mattered" (been awhile since Ive watched it so paraphrasing some). Also when he spots Goslings daughter walking the empty yard and he pulls over to find out what shes doing. Those emotional moments are my favorite. Though Goslings bumbling about in the film is charmingly funny xD
I liked Jeff Bridges character and that he did the right thing in the end. Its like this nice juxtaposition of people having the capacity to change and do the right thing alongside the people who refuse to change or make the right choice. Who can be saved? I think Jeff Bridges wearing the priest outfit was to add some symbolic nature to the whole thing. He made the right choice in the end, the good choice, and even prayer was involved! And theres the message Disillusionment and Abandonment. Those bad people and also the broken people, there are manipulators and those who have been manipulated and despiared because of it. They were all living lives of sin away from God, then this man in the priest outfit and black lady who is a beautiful singer saves the day, along with the soldier who lost the path but found the path again to salvation. But the bible says "no righteous acts will lead you to Heaven, you will only see the Father through Me (Jesus)" Is this why the soldier needed that prayer before he died? He knew that righteous act at the end wouldnt be the saving factor for his soul?
Thank you for posting this. I havent seen this movie in years but still think of it sometimes. I need to rewatch it, and I think I will with my Fiance. See what she thinks of the movie. I find watching movies with others can help you see more or think differently. I use to watch so many shows and movies alone.
This is a movie where its box art, actors, and synopsis was good enough for me to to purchase the DVD blindly. And I was happy to find that I enjoyed the movie. It stuck with me for some time, the mystery of the characters, and the culmination of their paths crossing, along with the satisfying ending. I think I considered going to the movies to see it, but just never made it out there. For someone who loves movies, I dont go to the theater that often. I was intrigued the moment Jon Hamms character began finding all those wire taps! So for me I was glued to the screen from early on.
I think the movie had interesting messages as well. Sometimes you just cannot save somebody. The older sister trying to rescue her sister even from early childhood, just to lose her at the end and die as well. You gotta feel some way about that, its just rough. She loved her sister, they both experienced trauma, but the younger sister made a choice and was not gonna change. Have you ever struggled to help a family member or even a friend and eventually realize they make their choice?

I liked The Omega Code with Casper Van Dean. Also the movie called Tribulations starring Gary Busey was really good. Those are two christian films I really liked.
If you try it out let us know! Im curious as to what time during the film you begin to feel uneasy and if you actually finish it alone in those woods. Remember, my scenario has you sitting on some log no cover when you watch it, only light coming from the laptop shining upon you. You break the rules if you are just lazily laying within a tent as the movie plays. Thats not the same experience. You gotta be exposed as you watch.
That would be a good one. But the dark woods play a major role in this film. Besides at the time I thought of this scenario, I lived in an old house partly enveloped with woods right behind it. And those woods felt eerie as if someone was watching you. I may as well have been in the cabin! xD Im just kidding, that cabin was very secluded in the movie. The old house I was in did have other homes nearby, but they werent as close to the woods as it was.
But would you fall asleep alone, in the woods, with this movie playing?
That coffee was ever so good, and was shocked to find that was a part of this ice creams flavor!
Publix brand Frozen Yogurt called Expresso Chip, its rare because it has real coffee in it and this coffee is called "Santas White Christmas" it was a coffee that got bought out and then shut down for awhile but it was then rebranded and redistributed by the new owner with different packaging. But it was some of the best coffee I have had and that ice cream was exceptionally special and it was actually healthy!

I dont think we will get a response from the user and old posters but I will also add that YES this film still holds up.
I admit it was quite a family favorite for us kids growing up. But, during a trip recently, I found a video store in Louisiana that was able to order me a copy of this movie on DVD (region free copy). I wanted my Fiance to watch it with me as I mentioned this film to her on several occasions as being an old favorite of mine. She watched it for the first time as an Adult and she said she enjoyed it! Christopher Lees villain, the Black Knight Kato is still intimidating and downright menacing in his dialogue alone xD. The storyline and adventure itself has enough entertainment for an adult. It still has a childhood charm for me, but rewatching as im older now I appreciate different aspects of the movie even more. The cinematography is really good, the music is good and that flute music is ethereal at times here is that flute song for the film https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUdp3ODwYQY(I told my fiance we should have that flute music at our wedding xD) , the main boy actor is pretty good and his friend in the film is Christian Bales first movie appearance! I like how they set up the looming threat of Kato (Christopher Lee) and that the characters Mio meets speak of him in hushed whispers and the land gives an eerie wind when he is mentioned as if the land of faraway is a character itself trying to warn Mio of the danger. Also the world and characters they meet have this lived in feel to it. If you need some reference, know how The Neverending Story is a kids film yet still holds up when you rewatch as an adult? Thats the best comparison I can give you. Neverending Story is more epic, but the adventure in Mio in the Land of Faraway is still worth seeing.

I still watch it, been buying them on DVD since I didnt have any streaming services for years. Ive been disappointed that they havent released season 15 on DVD yet and they are making season 17 at this point. What gives? Luckily I do have streaming now and I have watched the seasons I dont own. There is still entertainment to be had and the show is still funny. In my opinion the very best episodes are all the episodes of Disc One of season 5. I have watched and rewatched that disc so many times. And I have found good episodes in every season. Not all can be said to be amazing but Im still into the show
