I think if there had not been any puppy killing, John would have tried to solve the thing peacefully and focus on the puppy, to honor his wife's wishes.
I thought we were talking cans here.
They could replace him with Jackie Chan, like Daario in Game of Thrones
LOL secret to immortality

Saw a scene of it as a kid on tv like in the 90s and was super scared because ET was so creepy and realistic.
Also like another poster said I had seen Star Wars, Terminator, Back to the Future, etc. at that point, the story wasn't that appealing to me.
Eventually watched the whole thing many years later as an adult and I think it's a great film but I don't have this connection to it most people have.
Crowe looks more realistic, Sean Bean looks like a movie bad guy.
I always thought it was a sketch, his acting was super fake and over the top.
didn't they lynch him at the end?
better than the guy who asks people to "send women his way"

he was drunk and he was Rick Fuckin' Dalton
He didn't mean to disrespect him, he mistakenly believed that Bruce claimed he could beat up Mohammed Ali.
A shame, because the idea of a guy like Cliff beating Bruce Lee is pretty realistic. I don't mind making fun of the poses and noises either, Bruce was not a real fighter and didn't claim to be so.
I didn't like seeing Donny go

no it's just the DeLorean spinning on itself to achieve the 88 mph while being suspended on the air
Batman is doomed to rise and fall because its a dark character that also has a huge mainstream appeal. So the most memorable incarnations are the darker and more violent ones, then the character becomes super popular so they market it to kids, toning down the dark elements until it becomes dull again and loses audience. Then the industry loses interest in the franchise and some low profile fanboy team gets to do what they want with it and so on and so on.
It's happened in the comics too.
I have good memories from ReBoot it was a cool show but I didn't know it had ruined so many big franchises. The more you know.
I watched The Godfather, Goodfellas and Scarface for the first time in the same weekend years ago and after starting with The Godfather Part 1 I was underwhelmed by the rest of the movies (including GF2). Still great movies but GF1 is a masterpiece.
he protagonized one of the first after credits scenes though
