I heard about this. Very sad. I guess her kids filed a lawsuit against the police department as her ex was an officer and they did nothing to him in previous domestic calls. I really thought that was funny too. Yes, I don't know the episode number but it was season 30 and in Witchita. I noticed the show tended to reuse old segments in themed episodes in seasons 15 and 16. I also noticed Waltman moved back closer to home after his retirement. I remember the segment where there was a knife at the convenience store in which the suspect and Waltman both were tased. I remember him talking about being a New Yorker. He definitely looked different in his later years too. He seemed to enjoy his grandchildren too. May he R.I.P. I really enjoy him in all of the segments I've seen of his. Frentess reminds me of someone who might have been bullied in school or became a cop to crave power. I think he was almost a rookie in that episode. Mathis seemed more calm in that segment because it was a less intense segment. He seems to be more of a jerk in intense situations, like Brian Clark. Saw that segment on YouTube and the majority seem to agree that Frentess was a jerk. Many people wonder how he'd act with no camera around him. I'm hoping since he appeared once that he could've just had a bad day. If he appeared in 3 different segments and acted the same in all of them, I'd likely believe that he's a very bad cop with power abuse overall. I see he's now a Sgt. so hopefully, he's matured, although some higher-ranked officers can still have their own problems. I believe the couple were both tourists. I was surprised the suspect escaped the DUI, but Tom Jenkins has always seemed like a fair cop. This segment was no exception in the way he treated everyone very well. If anything, the suspect was the one who was being the jerk. I remember the segment about the furniture being rearranged and thought it was nice the woman didn't press charges. I think the biggest problem was that the suspect's English wasn't all that great, so the one suspect might not have known what Lower and the other officers were saying. I didn't have much sympathy due to how much equipment was stolen. Lower did seem to become happier when the victim showed up. It's been a while since I've seen that season 11 episode you mentioned. The one from season 14 over stolen equipment and tools. I saw that Jeff Lower segment of him conducting the traffic stop. I get the vibe that he seems like a very unhappy person and would rather be anywhere but there. Saw that one numerous times. The suspect was a total jerk, and very annoying too. I think I remember the cops saying that he was upset because he was arrested days earlier. It does remind me of the time Officer Lord had to arrest the Meth addict for the 2nd night in a row. You could even tell he felt sorry for the guy and tried to let his wife know to try to get him treatment. The lead officer seemed very nice and treated the suspect with respect. I've noticed officers who deal with repeat offenders tend to be impatient, but not him though. He seemed to be more laid back compared to his season 19 segments I agree. The suspect was a bit honest about his problems. She was probably my favorite of the Palm Beach deputies. She seems calm and polite in tough situations whereas others will be more aggressive. Lanier appeared in quite a few episodes from seasons 18-21 and seemed decent, but nothing too special.
