The one officer I've thought was a total prick was Joe Frentess from Des Moines, IA (Season 14), he was the officer who pulled over a young male and his buddies for a minor traffic violation and while dealing with the perps he was being a total jerk the whole time yet the perps were trying to be as kind and respectful towards him, I think that was the only episode he appeared in.
Another officer who I thought was an ass was Theron Hardesty of Pierce County, WA (Seasons 15 and 17), he appeared in episodes S15e18, S15e27, S17e21 and S17e24.
I didn't think he was too bad on S15e18 but on episode S15e27 he does a traffic stop on a woman driving a stolen vehicle, the whole time he orders her out of the vehicle he was being verbally aggressive towards her, the suspect even tells Officer Hardesty that he didn't have to be so mean to her, they also found meth needles inside of the vehicle.
On S17e21 he orders a bearded man out of the stolen vehicle and barks orders at him to lay on the ground, the suspect refuses to lay down in the dirt, then he orders one of the backup officers to shove him down so they have him in custody, the suspect claims he put $3,000 down on a 1980's model Porsche but Officer Hardesty isn't buying his story, the 2 young owners of the vehicle arrives and will gladly press charges against him.
On S17e24 he does a traffic stop on a young woman in a high drug area, turns out the vehicle she was driving was stolen, the suspect claims her roommate let her borrow the vehicle but Officer Hardesty tells her that she's lying, her roommate called the police because she took her roommate's vehicle without permission so she could score some meth
On these three segments he was being very rude and aggressive towards these suspects to where I felt sorry for these criminals because I believe being aggressive only makes things worse rather than better.
I know of Hardesty and agree that he could be a jerk at times.
I don't remember much about the season 15 segment you mentioned, but that sounds very awful for what the woman had to deal with.
I remember the bearded guy getting arrested. I know Hardesty gave him an attitude for calmly asking him "What's going on"? I also remember the victims coming and Hardesty asking them if he stole the car in which they replied "Yes", in which Hardesty replied, "That's exactly what I wanted to hear".
I remember the other woman in the stolen car. I remember her crying and Hardesty seemed to be nonchalant about it by asking "Why are you crying?" She knew something was off. I also remember him telling the woman she lied.
I too felt sorry for all of them because of him and feel that he's very smug. I don't like officers telling suspects that they're lying. What if it's really the truth?
The Season 15 with the woman having needles in the stolen car was hard to watch because Hardesty was being so mean to her, while she deserved going to jail I feel most officers would've been more respectful towards her, I remember Hardesty being nonchalant about the woman crying, I also remember him telling her that he'd be a rich man if he could make money off of all the lies she told him which I thought was very smug and disrespectful, I also don't like it when officers are telling the suspects that they're lying, I sometimes wonder if they're telling the truth or not or if the suspects has a different point of view, I didn't like seeing Hardesty give the bearded suspect attitude all because he asked what was going on.
I agree Hardesty is very smug which makes it easy to sympathize with the criminals.
Agree about everything. Any officer who gets mean to a suspect (which there have been a few) makes any segment hard to watch. (Joe Frentess, Jeff Lower, John Mathis, etc.) The whole "I'd be rich if I could make money off of all the lies" is very condescending to say. I don't think officers should say suspects are lying as they could have indeed have a valid point of view.
Not just Hardesty, I actually sympathized with the two men that Joe Frentess stopped. Even my dad thought that him handcuffing the passenger was totally illegal. Ditto with the woman who had the warrant whom Boise Officer John Mathis yelled at for daring to pull away while handcuffed, and for being very arrogant about the drugs she claimed were "planted" by him.
I didn't think Jeff Lower was too bad in the earlier episodes he appeared in but could not stand him in Season 16, I agree officers who gets mean to a suspect can be very hard to watch, especially when the suspect is trying to be cooperative with the officers, I agree with you on Joe Frentess and John Mathis, I hated the way Officer Frentess treated the suspects on a traffic stop, I always thought the officers were never allowed to search the passenger unless if it's necessary, I totally forgotten all about the John Mathis episode where a woman claims the drugs were "planted" by him.
Another officer I can't stand watching is Jason Guillen of Houston, TX (Season 23), especially on the episode where he did a traffic stop on two young males in a stolen car.
Lower was tolerable in the season 11 episodes, but he became a total jerk by season 16. Frentess totally overreacted. When he initially stopped the car, he was not friendly nor rude but he became more of a jerk when the driver told him to calm down. Ditto with the passenger. I remember him telling them both "You're just being put into handcuffs and I'll tell if you're being arrested".
I didn't have too much of a problem with Lower in the Season 14 episodes either except for the one where he dealt with a 3 men and a woman who were in a vehicle that was used in a string of burglaries, Season 16 was when I really couldn't stand him.
I agree Frentess overreacted when the driver told him to calm down, the way he acted towards the suspects was very difficult to watch, especially when he gets all mean towards the suspects who were being respectful towards him.
I thought Guillen acted arrogant and obnoxious towards the two young men on a traffic stop considering they were being semi cooperative towards him, the car was reported stolen and the driver was a wanted felon in another state, the passenger also had pills in his shoe, I agree Guillen isn't in the same league as Lower (in the later seasons), Mathis and Frentess.
I don't think I liked Lower in any of his season 16 segment. Maybe as he got older he became more of a jerk.
Both of Frentess's suspects were cooperative or semi-cooperative and respective. He didn't need to treat them that way. I also noticed he was really rude when the driver later admitted to driving while intoxicated.
I personally didn't notice anything wrong with Guillen in the segment you mentioned. He also appeared in a segment about a stolen lawn mower and was cool in that too.
And several years after Lower appearing on COPS he'd gotten fired from his job.
I agree Frentess didn't need to be a jerk towards the criminals who were semi cooperative and respective, even my mother was shocked and appalled by Frentess's behavior and she normally respects the police.
I remember the other Guillen segment with the stolen lawnmower and I liked him a lot better in that segment, he seemed to be cool dealing with the suspects and the victims in that episode.
I remember back in the early 2000's my brother went out for a walk late at night trying to find his friends (he was in high school and there was no curfew), unfortunately the police were called because my brother's friends were throwing rocks at a girl's house trying to get her attention, the police assumed my brother was the suspect in the case and was being a total jerk towards him, my brother denied his involvement and they accused him of lying, my brother's friends were heading back home and they claimed my brother had nothing to do with it and that they were the ones who did, fortunately no one got arrested but my brother was really upset over the way the police treated him, the police's behavior reminds me very much of Jeff Lower or Theron Hardesty.
My brother was really upset, shocked and appalled over that incident, he started distancing himself from his friend who he was staying with but remained close to one of his other friends all throughout school, I'm glad his friends admitted to the officer that my brother had nothing to do with them throwing rocks at a girl's window just to get her attention.
I know Lower also coached softball and stole money for softball equipment.
My older brother has had similar things happen to him with neighborhood kids and was even thrown in the back of a police car. He was extremely scared. Was your brother back in the patrol car?
We've talked here before about how Lower stole money for softball equipment and how it was disgraceful.
My brother never got handcuffed or sent to the back of a police car thank goodness, that sucks about your older brother got thrown in the back of a police car all because they thought your older brother was one of the neighborhood kids causing trouble, I would've been scared myself, there was one night I went out for a walk and a police officer tells me to come over close to the police car, he asks me for my name and date of birth, I gave it to him and he immediately let me go after that, I wonder if I matched the description of a wanted fugitive or not.
I was relieved he let me go right away instead of detaining me to see if I had any warrants or not, I was also surprised this officer took my word and let me go, I never imagined them doing that, I feel since I said it without hesitation he believed me
I have heard stories about the wrong suspect getting arrested or worse and I don't wish for anyone to go through that.
Some of the more controversial police shootings/killings were for suspects "resembling" other suspects.
One of the Pierce County segments from season 17 actually involved the wrong suspect suing. The guy was in a drunken stupor outside in a dark area and was very confused. That's when the other deputies tased him and had a k9 bite. They later go into another house and arrest a 2nd suspect. The victims stated the 2nd suspect was the main suspect.
I remember watching that segment and didn't realize until a couple years later that it was the segment where a man filed a lawsuit against the police because of how they handled the situation, plus Joe Kolp who was one of the arresting officers is an officer who I've always liked, I know I would've been confused if I were in this particular confused person's shoes.
I know I would hate to fit the description of someone who committed a felony crime.
I always liked Kolp and felt bad that he was a defendant in a lawsuit. I actually don't blame the man for suing but the officers probably thought it was suspicious that he was almost passed out in a yard.
Sometimes a police officer can assume something suspicious when something doesn't appear right, the suspect was right to sue the officers over what happened, I also felt bad for Kolp that he had to be a defendant in a lawsuit, I believe he does try to be a good police officer when dealing with the public.
I also thought he kept his cool towards one panicky suspect who was driving without a license and was totally freaking out, I didn't blame Kolp for detaining him in handcuffs because of his panicky state, I agree it is important for a person to show his hands no matter what.
Me neither, if only the suspect would've been cool with Kolp pulling him over he probably could've gotten off with a ticket, he was panicking like he just got done robbing a bank or if he was trafficking large amounts of drugs, I didn't particularly feel sorry for him that he'd gotten arrested, I can't imagine what it would've been like if Officer Hardesty was dealing with this suspect.
If he didn't panic he probably would have easily been on his way. I know he didn't have a license and was also intoxicated. I know the suspect said he was scared of going to jail and that's why he was panicking so much.
Officer Hardesty would probably be arrogant throughout and likely yell at the suspect.
I do wonder if the suspect was intoxicated or not, he did seem to be scared of going to jail despite the fact that the crimes he did commit were misdemeanors, I didn't blame Kolp for being upset with the suspect being panic stricken and applaud him for being respectful and polite towards the suspect.
I'm so glad Hardesty wasn't the officer who dealt with this suspect, I can see him being arrogant and condescending towards him as well.
Speaking of John Mathis I actually saw him appear in another episode (S32, E10) as a secondary officer which surprised me because I haven't seen him since Season 19, he seemed alright in that episode although he barely appeared in it, maybe he is getting older and calmer.
I thought the main officer (can't remember his name) was really cool and patient dealing with the suspect, it was nice to see the suspect come clean and admit what he was doing, I did a double take when I saw John Mathis's name in the segment, I was glad to see him be more calm and laid back compared to his Season 19 segments.
I agree with you some of the officers can get mean, impatient and rude to the repeat offenders, I feel the lead officer in this segment was very patient and respectful dealing with this suspect, another officer I remember who fits in a similar category to this lead officer is Officer Benjamin Lord of Springfield, MO (Season 24).
It does remind me of the time Officer Lord had to arrest the Meth addict for the 2nd night in a row. You could even tell he felt sorry for the guy and tried to let his wife know to try to get him treatment.
I liked how Officer Lord did his best to keep his cool while dealing with the suspect tweaking and freaking out, I know I would be scared to death having to deal with someone like the suspect, I thought it was nice of Lord letting his wife know what's going on and that he did genuinely feel concerned about the suspect, it's nice to see officers feel compassion for the suspects who are struggling.
What are your opinions on Officer Gregory Goral from Albuquerque, NM (Season 12)? He appeared in the second segment of S12E29) where he was dealing with a transvestite prostitute who claimed he'd gotten his wallet stolen while staying at a hotel room, some people are saying he was a total jerk towards the transvestite but I disagree, he did get impatient while the transvestite was interrupting him though, Goral also calls the transvestite "sir" (which wouldn't fly well if he did that today).
I thought Officer Goral can get a little arrogant at times but he was never downright mean that I can think of.
I did like that he recovered the transvestite's wallet and told her to keep her door locked, I don't think Goral was as bad as someone of the YouTube commenters made him out to be, I would be upset if someone was constantly interrupting me
Another officer I'm surprised no one has mentioned who I thought was a total prick was narcotics officer Tony Moreno of Pittsburgh, PA (Season 18), he is always rude, arrogant and short tempered while dealing with the criminals, even if they're being semi cooperative towards him, I can't standing watching the episodes with him in it, I also thought his partner Brian Nicholas was also just as much of a prick as Tony Moreno, especially on Season 18, Episode 22.
He seems like one of those officers that shows off for the camera. He's kind of a less likable version of Anthony Damiano.
The one that I didn't like was the black guy who had drugs and stopped him, which surprised him. He seems confused and Moreno aggressively presses his taser near his heart. Moreno rudely repeatedly tells him "Don't talk to me". The suspect ended up dumping his drugs in the sewer. The suspect claims he was surprised and didn't know he was a cop. Moreno said he wouldn't just stop anyone for no reason. I don't really feel sorry for the suspect because of him ditching the drugs, but Moreno was kind of using excessive force in my opinion.
It looks like he shaved off the beard and looks quite a bit different now.
I totally agree Moreno is kind of a less likable version of Anthony Damiano, I also remember the segment with the black guy who appeared confused and started dumping his drugs in the sewer, while I don't totally feel sorry for the suspect getting arrested for dumping his drugs I didn't think Moreno had to be such a jerk towards him, I have a hard time watching that segment because of him, I also don't think he needed to press his taser in the suspect's heart, I always thought they're only allowed to tase them on the back, I can see why the suspect wouldn't think he was a cop judging by his appearance, I saw the episode on YouTube and so many commenters thought he was a bully.
For his partner Brian Nicholas in the other episode I was talking about I liked him better in the segment where he witnessed a Hispanic (I believe) male purchasing drugs from someone, the suspect was resisting arrest, the suspect claims that the officers totally ruined his life, for some reason he sounds a lot like my former alcoholic neighbor who's also a jerk.
If Moreno tased that guy in the heart, he could have easily died.
I saw one of the comments say that he said Pittsburgh Police, the suspect should have known better.
It seems like quite a few of the Pittsburgh detectives have attitude problems, but Moreno was the worst. He appeared in another segment where there were a few people holding beer, and one suspect had a gun. He was slightly better in that one.
It looks like most people aren't taking his mayoral run seriously, and most people think he won't have a shot.
I remember the Pittsburgh detectives had attitude problems in the 1991 episodes but their attitudes were justified compared to the much later episodes, I don't remember the other Moreno segment with a few people holding a beer and the suspect had a gun.
What are your opinions on Brian Nicholas? (Another Pittsburgh detective in the Season 18/19 segments)?
I do wonder how well Moreno is gonna do as a mayor?
Of the two cops I liked Brian Nicholas better than Tony Moreno, I don't see Moreno being a mayor at all, I wouldn't vote for him if I lived in Pittsburgh, what did you think of the undercover detectives doing a traffic stop on three young males and two of them were hiding their drugs inside their buttocks?
I thought they were arrogant but more likable than Tony Moreno, I didn't blame them for being upset with the three young males, I'm surprised they let one of them drive off when he could've easily been arrested, one of the officers in that segment was Stephen Matakovich who later got fired and arrested in 2015 for assaulting a drunk man.
I did not like the officers who nearly choked a woman swallowing the drugs outside of a gas station, that is another episode I have a hard time watching, Steve Matakovich has a very punchable face and it doesn't surprise me that he's a jerk, I'm not too surprised about him having a history of excessive force, I was under the impression that Pittsburgh is a dirty city based off of the officers I saw on that show.
My favorite Pittsburgh police officer is Officer Pat Logan of Season 4, I like his sense of humor and his lighthearted approach, plus he treats the criminals with respect as well.
I saw a few episodes of Minneapolis and for what I can remember I don't think they were too bad, they weren't much different than the officers in other areas, I remember the officers acted appalled over a guy who's a registered sex offender trying to flirt with a young girl, I'm glad she and her mother reported him to the police before he could cause any harm, they did say he could go back to prison since he has failed to register as a sex offender, I can picture Matakovich being similar to Derek Chauvin, I wonder what Chauvin is gonna get charged with between 3rd degree murder, 2nd degree murder or 1st degree murder?
They did film a good number of episodes in Minneapolis back in 1990 for Season 3.
I do remember the sex offender segment and while I didn't feel sorry for the suspect, the officers were a little bit rude when the guy didn't remember the rules, although it might have been justified.
I didn't have any issues with the officers being a bit rude with the suspect when he claims he didn't remember the rules when it comes to having to register as a sex offender, I remember the officer telling him they make it very clearly that they have to register as a sex offender in a certain amount of time, I do wonder if they genuinely forgot to register in time or not, I know it's hell having to register as a sex offender and it's not a situation I want to be in.
That has to be tough letting the county know where the offender lives and works. I think in the episode the cops said that they had to register every 90 days per Minnesota law.
90 days is quite often for a registered sex offender to register, I thought it was supposed to be once a year, I went to school with someone who later went on having to register as a sex offender for molesting a girl, he isn't doing too great and is close to living on a poverty scale.
Speaking of Brian Clark I actually went to school with a guy named Brian Clark and I remember the Brian Clark I went to school with was a bit on the arrogant side but was cool once you got to know him.
I didn't think this would be the same Brian Clark that was on COPS.
Another officer I'm surprised that never got mentioned is Dale Howard of Palm Beach County, FL (Season 11), he was the officer who was called to deal with a couple of crackheads (male and female) that were getting ready to smoke crack in a pickup truck, Officer Howard was practically yelling and screaming at the suspects to get out of the car, the female was crying because she's on probation and claims she's gonna be going to prison, she claims they charged her for possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell when it was really for her personal use, she was 19 at the time but looked more like 30, I'd much rather watch Jeff Lower in Season 16 dealing with these two suspects instead of Dale Howard.
I've seen the same segment and I don't like him but don't dislike him either. He's probably in the same league as Patrick Burke in Las Vegas. Howard seemed a bit aggressive as he was very concerned they were going to discard the drugs. I felt bad for both suspects. I think he did calm down, although he sternly but respectfully they had no choice but to go to jail.
I remember at the end, he showed the neighborhood the confiscated crack and they cheered when they saw it.
I think Season 16 Jeff Lower would be worse. Just seemed very cold to every suspect he dealt with.
You're right that Howard did calm down towards the end of the suspect although he acted stern, I remember Patrick Burke and thought he was alright although he did have some smug moments, looking back I can see why Howard got aggressive as he was very concerned they were going to discard the drugs, I also remember the neighborhood cheering when he showed them the confiscated crack and how happy they were that the crackheads were going to jail, for Season 16 Jeff Lower I thought he was worse towards the crackhead on probation and the car theft suspect than he was dealing with the racist guy who robbed and assaulted the store clerk.
That segment with Lower with the addict on probation was my least favorite segment of his. He was a jerk the entire segment, but I mentioned it before.
I'm so glad Lower didn't appear on the Season 18-20 episodes considering they did so many episodes in Palm Beach County, I guess the COPS filming crew were either not very fond of him or Lower requested not to be filmed in these episodes, shame Lower later got fired in 2007 for stealing a large sum of money.
I watched an episode from season 14 in Des Moines yesterday. It had Mike Moody and his partner in it. It was the one where they were called to a bar over a fight. One of the officers got really rude and aggressive toward the one woman who simply asked a question and threatened her with arrest a few times before leaving. Even my mom called him macho and said he threw his weight around.
I remember that episode, while I don't dislike Mike Moody I do agree he got really rude and aggressive towards a woman who simply asked a question which was uncalled for, I thought it was interesting to see both parties involved in the fight getting arrested, I have a hard time watching that episode because of Moody's personality towards the one woman who asked him a question.
Moody is a decent cop but seemed a little too belligerent in that segment. I heard him saying that they've been to that bar numerous times. I wasn't sure if it was Moody or his partner who was the jerk in the segment, but there's been a few other segments where Moody can be funny.
Another segment from Season 14 I remember Moody appearing in where they did a traffic stop on two men who were driving a broken down truck that was filthy, I remember the truck wouldn't start at the end of the segment, I liked him that segment, I don't remember any other segments Moody appeared in.
I agree he was a little too belligerent in that segment, I wonder if he was having a bad night or not, I know I wouldn't feel safe going to bars late at night by myself.
I wondered the same thing about Joe Frentess in the one segment myself. Saw it again a few nights ago. I noticed he accused the driver of having an attitude when he told him to calm down as if he didn't like being criticized.
I wish we would've gotten to see another episode with Joe Frentess to see if that was his main personality or if he was having a bad night, I didn't think Frentess needed to have an attitude towards the suspect when the suspect told him to calm down, I remember my mother thought he was a jerk the night the episode premiered, I can't remember the partner who appeared with Mike Moody in a couple episodes, didn't they both appear on the opening credits where they were playing guitar for a band?
Moody does appear in the intro, but the other officer with him didn't appear in any segments that I can remember.
Regarding Tony Moreno from Pittsburgh, who we also discussed on this thread, he managed to get the Republican nomination in the mayoral race, but lost big time, much to no one's surprise. It seems like many people said he had no clue what he was doing and considered his campaign a joke.
I always wonder if the one suspect who Moreno was aggressive towards over him discarding drugs thought he was a man impersonating a cop?
You're kidding about Tony Moreno managed to get the Republican nomination in the mayoral race but lost big time, I'm kind of glad he lost because he always strikes me as arrogant and aggressive towards the suspect, that is also really interesting that many people thought he had no clue what he was doing and considered his campaign a joke, I know if I was a Pittsburgh resident I wouldn't be voting for him.
What did you think of Officer Stephen Matakovich from Pittsburgh? Me I thought he was alright and didn't have any problems with him, shame he had brushes with the law later on in his life.
He had a very punchable looking face but thankfully he wasn't as mean as some of the other officers like Tony Moreno or Brian Nicholas, I'm also not big on Officer Craig Campbell from Pittsburgh (lead officer from Season 18, Episode 20 where the suspects were hiding drugs inside of their bodies).
I think I was thinking of Campbell instead of Matakovich. Campbell was not my favorite and thought he had a bit of an attitude.
I also wasn't a fan of Jason Lando. He was the one who dealt with both a mother and her daughter who was a prostitute. He gave the mother an attitude because she wasn't totally honest at first about her daughter's problems. His partner, on the other hand, Antoine Cain, seemed very nice and polite.
Was Jason Lando also a Pittsburgh police officer? I vaguely remember the episode with the mother and daughter prostitute, I know I'm gonna have to rewatch that episode again.
Brian Nicholas was the main officer who witnessed a drug transaction and arrested the guy who purchased the crack cocaine, he was resisting and giving attitude towards the police, the suspect was wearing a Kordell Stewart jersey, Nicholas also appeared in the episode where he witnessed a black man selling crack to a black woman along with Tony Moreno, I thought both Moreno and Nicholas were aggressive and mean towards the crack buyer and seller (more so Moreno than Nicholas), at first I thought the crack buyer was a male instead of a female.
*Edited*
I did watch the segment with Jason Lando and he did seem to be very arrogant and rude while dealing with the mother and daughter who was a prostitute, I don't rank him among one of the worst officers of the show but I'm not really too fond of him either, I did like his partner Antoine Caine, I remember Matakovich was bald.
Another officer who I thought acted very rude and unprofessional while on a traffic stop is James Barnett of Escambia County, FL (Season 33), he did a traffic stop on a woman who was tailgating, then when the woman pulls over right away he screams at her to shut the car off, I thought he had no reason to scream at her because she did pull over right away, most officers wouldn't scream at the suspects without any reason, not long after being question she starts panicking and freaking out about going to jail because she had a warrant and the police later found crack cocaine inside of her vehicle, if you ask me Officer Barnett strikes me as someone who has woman issues and seems to be resentful over not being able to have the kind of woman he desires.
I saw that Jeff Lower segment of him conducting the traffic stop. I get the vibe that he seems like a very unhappy person and would rather be anywhere but there.
Which traffic stop are you talking about that Jeff Lower did? I agree he did seem like a very unhappy person in the Season 16 episodes, I thought he did have somewhat of a sense of humor in the earlier episodes.
I remember the episode with the stolen tools, while I thought Lower was an ass in that segment I didn't feel any sympathy for the suspects, I was happy for the victim that he was able to get his property back, I did notice Lower seemed happy for the victim and even managed to have a sense of humor while dealing with the victim, I agree with the victim that tool thieves are scum, I thought the thieves were a lot worse than Lower because they felt no shame and acted like they did nothing wrong, is it true that they understood very little English?
Do you remember the marijuana buy bust sting from Season 11, Episode 25 where they were selling marijuana to unsuspecting buyers? I felt bad for the last woman who got arrested for purchasing a dime bag of fake marijuana because she seemed like a nice looking woman and wish they would've let her off with a ticket, she strikes me as someone who has a good job and likes to smoke a little marijuana every now and then, plus she was driving a nice newer model sporty car which likely got impounded.
I think the biggest problem was that the suspect's English wasn't all that great, so the one suspect might not have known what Lower and the other officers were saying. I didn't have much sympathy due to how much equipment was stolen. Lower did seem to become happier when the victim showed up.
It's been a while since I've seen that season 11 episode you mentioned.
I do feel Lower could've handled the suspects not having much knowledge of the English language a little better, I know they were hurting people and their families while stealing all of the tools and equipment people need to perform their work, I loved how the victim told the officers that they made his night, Lower definitely perked up when the victim showed up, I think Lower finds joy in putting thieves to jail, I remember the victim claimed this was the second time that it's happened.
The Season 11 segment I mentioned was the episode prior to the one where Officer Kenneth Voiret dealt with a Hispanic male who was moving furniture around at a woman's residence and she called the police on him, fortunately the woman was nice enough not to press charges since the suspect thought it was a friend of his that was still living there.
She probably believed the suspect that it was a misunderstanding, I really liked how calm, polite and professional Officer Voiret is while dealing with the public.
