I’ve been buying vhs tapes for fun recently and picked this one up. I checked and it looks like there STILL is no dvd release. That’s crazy.

I started collecting vhs this year for fun and came across a copy of this movie at a Goodwill. I didn’t remember it at all and looked it up online. It looked dumb and I was going to leave it until I searched and saw that it wasn’t streaming anywhere, not even Disney+, so then I had to buy it. It stinks, lol.

I’ll reply 5 years later… I just picked this up on vhs at an antique store. I don’t think it’s great, some of the acting is kinda bad imho. But it’s an interesting watch, right now it looks like it’s not officially available to stream anywhere but I see it uploaded to youtube.

I know this thread is old… A little Troy moment I enjoyed is when he and Adam are dancing to YMCA and Adam over exuberantly hipchecks Troy into a chair, and Troy just looks so scandalized, lol.

I just finished watching the film. At one point Fiona asks him why he doesn’t go to live on the island right now (as he had said earlier he intends to move there when he’s a man) and his reply is “But Mother.” She he apparently lives with his mother, somewhere nearby.

Sure. Just got done watching it, I’d never seen it before. Not great but I’ve seen worse. I watched it on Amazon Prime, it was free with no ads.

I had to google this, as I just saw this movie today and did not catch a nonbinary character. It’s one of Wade’s siblings, they are voiced by a nonbinary actor. Literally nobody points out that they are nonbinary and if anybody refers to them as they/them I completely missed it. That said I believe that the first fire couple the mom is doing a love reading for both appeared to be men. I figured that was the extent of the representation we were going to get in this one.
