Good point, plus in the office universe the documentary aired for the characters between the second series and the Xmas specials so Neil would have seen all the things Brent said about him behind his back which in turn probably made him dislike Brent immensely. It’s only been a week and I can hardly remember any of it, just nothing seemed to happen until the last 5 minutes, I think this film has proved that Tom Hardy’s heyday has passed, Austin Butler just posed his way through it with a lifeless character and Jodie Comer’s character wasn’t interesting in the slightest His character was completely pointless tbh, as was Michael Shannon’s character He was brilliant in The Abyss, honestly feel he deserved an Oscar nomination for that role He’s hardly in it He’ll never finish the books I agree, if they wanted a way of Soldier Boy not killing Homelander then just have his blast not work on Homelander No love for Needful Things ? Heat, Heaven’s Gate, Lord of the Rings, Casino, The Assassination of Jesse James, The Thin Red Line and about a thousand more. Gotta agree tbh, never read the books but both films are forgettable, the villains are poor and under developed, gearing up for the final battle I just didn’t care about any of the characters, contrast that to stuff like Lord of the Rings where you grow connected to the characters, these Dune films things just plod along with no structure No People like you say this shite all the time but without actually backing up these claims with evidence, what exactly in his films became the standard ? You can count, good for you Extremely overrated, made some decent films and made some rubbish ones. The Shining is a poor adaptation of a much superior novel, Full Metal Jacket is decent but falls short when compared to the likes of Apocalypse Now and Platoon. His pretentious wanker fan boys are the worst though and make me thin he’s even more overrated than he is, as I’d every shot in every single film he ever did holds some fountain of meaning and is literally changing the world 🤣 they’re just insufferable Well I’m saying you’re wrong, and stupid. Fcuk you and fcuk Kubrick Broken back, ribs and plenty of internal bleeding, was a bit of a shock that she died tbh Yeah he’s overrated, made some good films but never seen all the fuss myself, question that to his pretentious fan base though and they just tell you that you’re a troll or that you “don’t get it” It was pretty hilarious how there was no jeopardy whatsoever in the final battle, not once did the French have the upper hand or even put up much of a fight, the french prince was a complete imbecile and Mark String’s villain was completely inept, everything he did failed miserably and he just tucked tail and ran whenever he met resistance What did you think of Neil Morrisseys performance in the 1984 version? Apparently Gary Oldman was offered that part originally. His introduction scene was quite strange but I thought he grew into the role as the film went on, his best moments were when he actually wasn’t saying anything and was just acting with his eyes and body language whilst observing what was going on around him.
