So glad this poster is gone. What a wasteful and prejudice comment.
I translated it in this way: He is refusing to show those people he's going to just lay down and die. He had to have been struggling to sit up and he did. I think the camera shows him even breathing twice before he dies. This shows he lived his life fighting for life and good and he died fighting for life, in this case his own. He never gave up until he had to.
😢ðŸ˜Loved him in Baretta and some of the films he did/was in. He was a great actor.
Make sure you know what you are talking about before you post so you don't look foolish. Everyone who dies is unconscious at death as Jesus told his disciples when speaking of John's death. No one is in a "hot" place. Those who are not resurrected are dead forever. You and I are not the judges of who is or isn't resurrected.
He had not worked for several years before the murder occurred.
Saw this a few days ago. No they were not on any drug. Yes, the show was hilarious. I would love to see the entire show and see what Burt talked about.
It ended after the 3rd season because Robert Blake didn't want to continue doing the series. It was still going strong when it was cancelled. I wish they had tried harder and tried everything to convince him to continue doing the show. But interviews I've seen after his death plainly show that he never thought he did good with the show and character. But he did a great job with both.
There was no season 4. Robert Blake refused to continue with the series for some understandable reasons. The studio should have done all they could so that he decided to continue. He talked about how tiring it was so maybe it should have been suggested that they would continue the series the way the U.K does a television series or they could have suggested a few Baretta television movies.
Yes it is a shame. Robert Blake did so good with this show and character. It is so sad that he never believed that and thought doing the show was something bad for his career. But I think that was part of his thinking because of the parental abuse he suffered. I do understand and agree with his talking about how tiring making a series is and how the continual nature if a series is tiring and sometimes suffers from bad writing. Maybe studio executives should try doing television series partly like they do them in the U.K and partly like is done here. That way the cast would have time to do other things and there would be time to make better scripts for future episodes and having fans not see the show for a few months to a year might make them want to see the show more when it returns.
So heartbroken that he is gone. I loved Baretta and really wish he would have had a good time making the series, but I do understand some of his views about making the show.
This is my updated post. I found this movie listed in Wikipedia and it says that his wife's name was Maria.
I agree with the order you have them in.
Her death further emphasizes for the viewer how much he loved her. I believe that in the novel, the character is not well liked by anyone and the author intended for readers to feel the same way. I think the film's writers thought the viewers would not like her either, but the opposite happened. So having her die also affects those viewers.
I feel the same way about Captain Harrison dying. I so wanted him to have been thrown clear of the ship and to have been found either by the survivors or shown to have been picked up by the rescuers.
Yes, they did turn too late. I was attempting to explain what might have been the reason as to why they turned the ship too late.
Yeah, I mean I did feel sorry for the monster, but the movie should have done more to make you feel sympathy for it to go with the ending of the movie.
Yes, and very good chemistry. I just saw on another website that John was supposed to be 55 years old and Victoria was 29 so that is an age gap of 26 years, but still well portrayed.
Never saw that movie
The point is likely to show this is a 2010 adaptation of the novel and the year of the movie.
Oh, okay
The psychiatrist gave an explanation.
