Yeah IDK to me I just find it extremely distracting is all. Similar to RDJ in the MCU. I mean Robert is short, no big deal. But in the latest Avengers movie he's magically the same height as Chris Evans. Ditto for Robert DeNiro wearing lifts in the Irishman. I'm sorry but I can't help but be distracted by that. The Men wearing lifts is just absolutely absurd to me
It's like the saying goes "I can't unsee it." Even in the Scooby Doo episode. The animators had Jensen/Jared standing at the same height which is so ridiculous. And Jensen is almost 6'1 which is a pretty damn good height to be at. I love ya bro but get over it
Been a fan since day one. But to be honest I've been saying for years the two biggest problems with this show is too much filler, and bringing too many characters back from the dead. Imagine if this show had 13 episode seasons. If would go from being a really good show to a great show. Too many goofy episodes that add nothing to the proceedings. Sometimes they work, but in the later seasons they are mostly misfires.
When it comes to supporting characters - another major problem with the show. The writers can never seem to get it right when it comes to how short or long a character should be on the show. For example: I think Bobby, Ellen, Jo, Kevin, Mick, and John all could have stayed around longer. Although I realize John's death was certainly inevitable from a narrative standpoint. While Castiel, Lucifer, Crowley, Ketch, and Jack all overstayed their welcome, especially Castiel. Then you have tons of recurring characters they could have done A LOT more with yet chose not to. And whenever they mess it up they just start bringing people back to life, and it's infuriating. I'm sorry but once your dead, stay dead. The deaths have no meaning or emotional weight anymore because you constantly keep undoing everything.
I still love the show but this infuriates the hell out of me.
Linda was actually the only part of the movie I actually liked.
Mackenzie was awful. Diego Luna was a terrible choice and not the slightest bit intimidating.
Sadly Arnold just looked too old, and is no longer a physically imposing dude. Or maybe I should say Arnold is not doing at his age whatever Stallone is doing at his age.
I tried. I gave it a chance. But this movie was atrocious.
But the performance by Chris Reeve is still the bar for Superman IMO. Or any performance for any superhero really. He completely embodies the character.
I'm in the camp where I love both couples. I was in love with Pacey/Andie at the time and really loved their relationship. But then I get to Season 3 and I love Pacey/Joey even more.
Overall I prefer Pacey/Joey but every time I rewatch the show I still very much enjoy the Pacey/Joey season
I felt the same way about it too as first. However the more I thought about it whatever he has to do.
For those that remember Corey has been talking about this shit since the early 90s, about the same time he came out of rehab. He was being discredited as a junkie fresh out of rehab. I believe him, but I would agree I don't like the way he is telling his story. But if it works then more power to him.
Agreed my least favorite episode as well
If you're referring to the Season 2 finale. I would say minimum 3 years of training to get to the level that they were performing at. I agree that school fight was total jump the shark material. Very entertaining but jump the shark.
IMO I think Stephanie and Joey are the two that slipped right back into the roles with ease. Steve is a different version of Steve for sure but he's damn hysterical. Candice is fine as the lead but she tries too hard with the comedy.
The rest I agree that they've forgotten how to play these roles. Saget is not playing the corny Danny we all know and love. H'es just there because he loves the people involved. Personally I think Stamos is one of the worst offenders with all his wink and nod to the camera moments.
But my problem with the new show is just that it all feels so staged. It doesn't feel organic at all
I'm sure if Drew and Lucy signed on, Cameron would follow suit.
Hard to say since Charlie's Angels 2 was a flop. But I'd bet that a part 3 with those girls would have fared much better then this garbage
^^Butthurt much
I've seen the movies you've mentioned and I agree she's a female Hayden Christensen
I think that was part of the intent with Ronnie. Four is a good number and he was there to simply round out the team.
I agree in the later seasons he should have been given a little more. But I was a big fan of the character.
Season 5
Season 2
Season 7
Season 4
Season 1
Season 3
Season 6
IMHO this and Breaking Bad are the only two shows ever to be great from start to finish. Hard task
Hill would NOT be a good Riddler
Hopefully nothing. This film does not deserve anything. One of Quentin's worst
Favorites have all been said but I'll pick three in Brad Dourif, Tom Noonan, and Peter Boyle.
Least Favorites are the stunt casting Garry Shandling and Tea Leoni in Hollywood A.D. Ughhhh Hollywood A.D. is one of my least favorite episodes of the entire series.
That is very true sir. However the charm of the original franchise is that it's so easy to get behind Stallone's underdog character, that it's easy to suspend disbelief when he defeats Drago (as unrealistic as it is). However as much as I do like Michael B Jordan, I never got half as invested in Adonis as I did in Rocky which is why it made it harder to believe his triumph.
Part of the reason I didn't like this one as much. Under non circumstances did I realistically believe that Creed could beat the Russian
Too many episodes. Should have been 10 instead of 13. Overall much better then Season 2. Season 2 was crap.
I don't understand why the writers went out of their way to make us feel sympathy for Bryce. Did they want us to dislike the other characters? I mean I never liked Alex to begin with, so whatever with him. He should go to jail. But Jessica was highly annoying all season long, then the finale was the icing on the cake. I don't like Zach or Justin anymore. Ani sucked. It was kind of a mess, but not terrible. Also can they stop ending every season with this stupid hallmark moment, over the top, happy ending coming together of the characters scene.
I agree about Tyler confessing to Clay scene. Killing Monty the way they did honestly felt like cheap fan service. And Alex's dad covering up evidence was so predictable it annoyed me. It's his son, we get it. Is covering up the evidence going to fix everything that's wrong with him?
