just the obvious walking, running, climbing, diving, jumping, with NO shoes on! Especially with broken glass everywhere! He still managed to act cool and calm and help Al and eventually become the hero who saves many lives, and of course, he rids the world of the baddies, especially Gruber. Great idea! With cell phones, it woulda definitely been a game changer. makes you wonder if Lewis used a stage name to portray the character. when the lady you are talking to on the phone to Domino's asks your address, do you say the Nakatomi building in Los Angeles? LOL Quit trolling!! Check out the great Youtube channel Cinemasins. It's reason for existing is to nitpick at movies, and does a great job at it, especially nitpicking at Die Hard. The narrator of the channel asks this same question you ask, about how Karl got down to the ground floor, after having that chain wrapped around his neck. I think it is one of those "Don't pay too much attention to the details. It is ONLY a movie!" situations. I do usually do that, but I just love the commentary in the Cinemasins videos, as it is loaded with insults, humor and oftentimes, a quip of "That's racist!" Check it out! Robinson was such an incompetant jerk. How the HELL did he get the job of Lieutenant?? Cool! I loved how the song is played at the end of both movies. https://youtu.be/ltFdS0SJ41s SPOILER ALERT!!! Yes! That biker dude William Price was murdered by The Ice Man. He was friends with Ganz and the other biker. Remember the first scene of the movie, at the bar, where they blow away those two sheriff's deputies? They all were there. Price shot the bartender when he was about to call police. Ed O'Ross was also a bad guy in Lethal Weapon. he had jock itch. a boyfriend, at 8 years old? also, why would Li's character care about his daughter having a boyfriend? "What's a dolphin's last words? 'i am not a tuna!'" - Robin Williams i am sure the baddies had plenty of surveillance on Riggs, Murtaugh, and the whole police force. i noticed that, too. i just watched this movie about 12 hours ago. Of course, it isn't like Carrie Fisher, who was not even British, to speak with a British accent in Star Wars Ep. 4. It still was interesting how Gibson's real Aussie accent was obvious in this second film. It was VERY careless of him to drop her off at her house. The baddies KNEW they were together. They killed her, for no other reason than to get back at Riggs. There was a shooting in my hometown back in the 80's. A guy was shot from many city blocks away, and was killed. It wasn't from a high-powered assault rifle. It was from a handgun of some sort. The dude who shot Riggs was in a relatively close range, so he shoulda died right there. The far-fetchededness (is that a word???) of this movie, and others, is sometimes crazy! The straight jacket scene, in the police station. The baddies just happen to put him in a straight jacket and throw him in the ocean. We KNEW the first time he would escape. He looked like he escaped faster the second time the jacket was on him. They coulda shot him and then threw him in the ocean, probably how they killed Rika. yes! very crappy of him to drive off without the dog. C'mon. He dated the girl one night, and he fell in love? Crazy! It was more like lust!
