When Dwayne says "has it ever occurred to you he might be one of the terrorists pulling your chain" I think he has a point but he just said it in the wrong tone of voice. I do think it's funny when he says "We're gonna need some more FBI guys".
shareHe had a point with that comment, but his other comment "Well who knows? Probably some stockbroker who got depressed" proved how inept he was.
shareDwayne was late to the scene. He didn't know what Powell knew.
shareHe knew Powell's squad car looked like Swiss cheese with a dead terrorist in the passenger seat having entered via the windshield from about ten stories up! I think he knew plenty!

As for Dwayne, well, it really wasn't an unreasonable assertion/theory that McClane might have been one of the bad guys leading Powell astray, but Dwayne's execution was all wrong.
True enough. The problem with Dwayne was he didnt trust or consider what his officer - Al had established. He didnt even try to confirm. He only criticised and Mocked the situation, not a good quality of a chief.
