The succes of Dr. Strange has more to do with consumer trust (or in this case viewer trust) because it is a Marvel they believed it would be an entertaining film. DC before Wonder Woman didn't make a well received film and in other countries not many use Rotten Tomatoes as a source if it is good or bad.
Everyone wants to be with the winning team, sad but comprehensible.
DC really needs to reboot this universe and plan it better. Ben Affleck quitting ok, but an actor ditching his DCEU role and switching to the rival, thats embarrassing.
It will probably make $600-$700 million. More is doubtful in my opinion.

Yeah, WB making it wrong is what I wanted to say Imagine this movie getting great reception and good word of mouth and making the money it's making right now.. With a great Story and better planning WB and DC would get more money than MARVEL with their "phase 1" I'm just saying that WB screwed this up by rushing to the Justice League and not taking their time. This movie could have more money than Avengers but it's still impressive the money it made.
The character isn't as well known in other countries as in the US and the previous films reception had a significant role to it aswell I believe.
Wouldn't mind, but if Flashpoint reboots the DCEU I prefer a different actor.
If Bruce Wayne made it himself it makes sense that it looks the way it did.
