Of course not. I was just reaching my early teens in the early 90's, so that's when I became aware of Aerosmith. Get A Grip was one of the biggest deals ever, and is still one of my all time favorite albums for any band. Dream On Sweet Emotions Crazy Amazing Cryin' Love in An Elevator Jeannie's Got A Gun Dude Looks Like A Lady Come Together (I know its a cover, but still good) Back In The Saddle Again No shit Sherlock. Thanks for being "that guy" who has to point out that Lucas didn't have anything planned beyond this movie when he made it. But since all the other movies have been made, and we do know that Vader was once Anakin Skywalker and Luke's father, feel free to offer your opinion on these questions. Since it's an opinion it can't be wrong, provided it meshes with what we do know from the movies. What did Owen know for fact about Anakin? What did he believe happened? What were his motives for lying to Luke? As we saw in Solo, you can just walk up and sign up for the Imperial Naval Academy at no cost and few questions asked. Doubtful there was a recruiting station on Tatooine, but Luke could easily get passage to either Coruscant, or another nearby system that did have a recruiting station. Lars had the money to send Luke. He just didn't want Luke to go because A) He wanted him to stay as free labor, and to eventually take over the farm B) Was scared Luke would fall into a similar fate as Anakin (it's not clear if Owen knew what happened to Anakin). C) He was just plain cheap. She was testing the waters, but without going "to far". She was making it crystal clear to him that she was very interested, and trying to see if he would respond. Once she got full confirmation that he was also interested, she reigned him in by mentioning his girlfriend. Without saying it, she told him that if he were to dump his girlfriend, she would be more than happy to step in, and would absolutely put out. Because Clint was just a bully. He would only pick on someone weaker, who he knew wouldn't be able to defend himself and no one would help or care. But once someone who can defend themselves steps in, like Pink or Wooderson, he backs off. If I were Hirschfelder, nothing could have pulled me away from that girl. She was so out of his league, and yet he was making out with her, and according to him was at 2nd base, though he may have been exaggerating to his friends. If the choice was leave now, and avoid paddling, or stay with that chick for another hour, then get whaled on by 20 seniors, I take that paddling with a smile on my face. Besides, like Pink said, after awhile your ass goes numb anyways. You expected them to come to their senses and realize ANYTHING?? Did you miss the part of the show where we find out that they're total idiots? To them, Todd is an older guy who actually talks it is to them, and has a car, and get chicks, and does whatever he wants with no regard for authority. And its common for kids to look up to older kids who they think are cool, and it takes time before they finally realize what that person actually is. I think Mike Judge said in an interview on Letterman during the shows original run that Butt-Head has a little bit of common sense, and Beavis is just off the wall. You have to disregard the video segments because they are both actually kind of smart and quick witted then. It's during the actual episodes that they are morons. I go with season 5 as the best. Season 9 is awesome as well, but it does have one of the few really big duds of the golden era "The Principal and The Pauper." Despite that misstep, Season 9 is the last great season. Season 10 and 11 are both strong, but they have their share of duds too, and aren't up to the shows previous standard. Season 12 is when it gets harder and harder to find great episodes, and then things fell apart from there. It had a PG-13 feel to it, but was still rated R. Part of me wonders if they had just toned down the language and violence a little bit and gotten a lower rating, would it have been more successful? The movie itself wouldn't have been better, but maybe more teens who had watched the previous movies on tv would have been excited to get to see this one in theaters, and boosted up the box office. "My cats breath smells like cat food." If you want to use real life ages, John Candy was 39 when this came out, Garrett Brown was 41. I kind of feel like that would be accurate for the characters too. Bob was the older, favored brother, and their parents paid more attention to him, and made sure he stayed on the straight and narrow. Meanwhile they hardly paid attention to their younger son, and in turn he just wandered through life aimlessly. Would it have become possible for you to avoid the trouble, thus avoiding them being bad days, perhaps even becoming great days? This is probably just a plot hole that many time travel movies fall victim too. But I'll try to use some movie logic to explain it. Marty and Jennifer were able to see their future selves because they had full intention of going back to 1985. So they were seeing the future in which they had traveled to 30 years prior, then returned back to their time and lived the rest of their lives. Einstein would not have been able to see himself in the future because he had no intention on going back to the time he left from. So for that amount of time (1 minute) there was no Einstein. Of course that opens up the question of wouldn't future M & J remember the date that their past selves traveled too, and the reason that they traveled there (save their son)? But that's just another one of those things you need to not think to hard about with time travel movies. Did they call them motels in 1960, or would it have still been referred to as a "Motor Lodge"? Well at least with Meadow, she wasn't on very much after the first two episodes of season 4. AJ on the other hand.... ughhhhhh. Seriously 4 out of the last 5 season finales tried to make it seem like he had finally turned a corner and was going to start becoming more responsible. But in the end he was just always going to be a giant man-boy. As he stated it wasn't a sight seeing tour. This was a serious tour of the academic facilities of Notre Dame, for the students who were seriously considering attending school there. Having inside information on Rudy's grades, the teacher would know first hand that Rudy was not a serious candidate to attend school there. Rudy was not paying attention in class, and the teacher called him out for it. And it sounds like this wasn't the first time. School was very different back then. A teacher could call you out, and embarrass in front of the class. And if you went home crying to your parents that the teacher called you stupid, the first thing they would say is "Well, what did you do?"
I found a few things. that just came out of left field. the Furio thing just comes 'out of nowhere' that Carmela all of a sudden has a thing for him Bobby and Janice comes out of nowhere as well. AJ all of a sudden gets a girlfriend Chris is now completely high on drugs. Paulie was in the Can.
Keep in mind there is at least an 8 month gap between the end of season 3 and the start of season 4. At the end of season 3 they are talking about the Ravens/Giants Super Bowl (Jan. '01) and season 4 starts in the weeks after Sept 11th. And the season runs until May 2002. Furio was Tony's driver, so that means he came to their house everyday. As we saw he would chat with Carmella while waiting for Tony, and she started falling for his charm. Janice became infatuated with Bobby when she saw how saddened he was by the death of his wife, and she wished she had a man who would miss her like that. By the end of the season he was finally passed the grieving of his wife and started to return affection. AJ is in high school, and his girlfriend was a classmate of his. Sometimes they start dating seemingly out of no where. Chris has always had a drug habit (he did coke in the pilot) and he started dropping acid and he lost control of himself. And Paulie got busted on a trumped up gun charge and was in the can for awhile.
