Going into office with a 41% approval rating.
The Sandlot vs. The Mighty Ducks.
It's a shame that this country is about to be taken over by pathological liars, trolls and lunatics.
Space camp.
Not the best picture of 1988 by any means, but still better than you'd think.
Better than most family sitcoms of the era.

I remember being blown away at the time. It reminded me of the "Scream" era when every slasher movie had insanely attractive people in them.
I saw it three times in the theater. I loved it.
Apparently, she charged Robert Brian Wilson money to practice lines with her and break down the script. I find that amusing and interesting.
Even Siskel and Ebert liked it.
Also:
Fun House (1981)
From Beyond (1986)
Parents (1989)
Out For Justice (1991)
Beethoven (1992)
Straight Talk (1992)
Brain Candy (1992)
Eddie (1996)
Larger Than Life (1996)
The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996)
Fierce Creatures (1997)
I heard Siskel liked Halloween III (1982) as well - I wonder if it's actually true?
That "Black Mirror" episode and "Gold" sort of showed flashes of the old Bryce.
They did tone down the male nudity and the raunchy dialogue - as well as the social commentary - in fact, it was nonexistent.
That was one of my favorite parts as well.
I cannot recall hearing that term in real life, but it was apparently around. I believe this was the first movie to use it.
I guess "Passon" also falls into this category, but it's fairly tame and not very good.
