I agree the no side orders of toast was crazy.. He should have just asked to speak to the manager, find out why the rules were in place.. very funny scene though...
A.J. is what Tony would have been like if he had been spoiled and indulged growing up the way A.J was
But, wasnt it mentioned that Corinne went to a private school, wouldnt she have socialized there?
thats a good point. ty for responding..
yes. that is one of my favorite episodes. the 2 leads acted it so well. Eternal boredom would be hell for some people..
Mr Bemis did in the episode "Time enough at last."
Never read the original story, thats interesting
they were awful, both of them..
i liked the clothing of that era as well, I really liked the black dress that lady wore in the stopover at a quiet town episode
Also that episode where Inger Stevens is followed while driving by a hitchhiker.. I always enjoy her work.. And the episode where the Gangster thinks he is in heaven.. but....
All of the above and To Serve Man.. I really love the Midnight Sun as well...
All this food sounds good. I just had some stouffers lasagna and coffee.. later on i will make for the first time sloppy joes on texas toast with some rice on the side... enjoy everyone... its nice to be home, a lot of times i have to work new years eve..
Its Time enough at last right now.. happy new year
I agree with the OP on some levels, some of the episodes are 2 "kiddie" for me to watch now, but some i can still enjoy today, like the UFO episode with Greg's trick. Depends on the episode, but the OP does have a point.. Much like i feel Whats Happening was mostly a show for teenagers, and some episodes arent as appealing to me now..
i have just made the hamburger helper version mostly, with extra sour cream
i read once they broke them up because they were having problems thinking up storylines for a married couple, they felt it would be easier to write for Rhoda as a single person.
I feel that a better way to handle the Rhoda divorce storyline would have been to have Rhoda wanting a child, while Joe did not. That would have made sense, she was in her early 30s still childless, while he already had a 10 year old and may not have wanted any more children, a situation like that happened with a married couple i knew, she wanted more kids, he didnt.. they stayed together however.
LOL were the squirrels married?
Stan is admitting that the food at Chotchkie's is just mediocre.. love it
You have a point, glad my date and I did the cheaper route. No limo, I got my dress on discount at a local shop.
