I’ve never seen Room 104. It’s not on any streaming service in the U.K. at the moment, but I will keep a lookout. :)
Yes as @ssissg mentioned, every episode is different, so you can watch in any order if you like.
My favourite Black Mirror episodes are (in no particular order):
Season 1: Episode 3 - The Entire History of You
Season 2: Episode 2 - White Bear
Season 3:
Episode 1 - Nosedive
Episode 3 - Shut Up and Dance
Episode 6 - Hated in the Nation (Brilliant. Like a film)
Season 4:
Episode 1 - USS Callister
Episode 3 - Crocodile
Episode 4 - Hang the DJ
Episode 5 - Metalhead
Season 5: Episode 3 - Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too
Season 6:
Episode 1 - Joan Is Awful
Episode 2 - Loch Henry
Episode 4 - Mazey Day - It's getting a lot of hate, but I really enjoyed it.
Yes they are and Black Mirror has always been diverse. Give it a try if you have never seen an episode. Really good.
Also, did I miss something or did Roy and Keeley ever get back together. I know they had that talk with Jamie and then Jamie and Roy left saying that was silly, but then I was expeting Roy and Keeley to get back together after that.
Yea I had a feeling Tom would keep Greg by his side. You are right. You could see the relief in Roman’s face at the bar. I felt for Kendall though.
I stayed up to watch it here in the U.K. and it was worth it. What a show. Still trying to process the final.
You beat me to it. :-) lol
Looks great. Can't wait.
I too, have never watched the series before as I was waiting for it to end. Now that it is ending, I started to binge it 3 evenings ago. I'm now on Season 2 episode 8 and loving it. I also find myself watching till 1 or 2 in the morning and have to force myself to go to bed. :) It has great writing, so well acted and is gripping. I'm glad I started now, then I can watch the final remaining episodes when they air live each week (think there are 6 more to air here in the UK).
Try the first 3 episodes and see how you go.
Keep at it guys. I binged the whole lot today and I pushed through the boring episodes (2-4) and it gets far better, I also found that when I switched off the English dubbing, it was a huge improvement, as the repeating words were getting on my nerves. Really annoying. I agree with the editing and constant replays, but there are some great physical games ahead especially the boat one and you start to root for the underdogs. Really exciting. Just forward the boring bits. :-)
From season 3 onwards of BCS, it just gets better and better. It's a work of art, just like Breaking Bad. :-)
Like many others in the 80s, I watched RoboCop (remember the man drench in acid), Terminator, Predator etc... when I was 6 or 7 years old :-) lol (I'm in my 40s now), so 13 should be ok and you are watching it with him. I would like to know his thoughts too as it is his first watch.
Yes on my second watch I hated Skylar less. On first viewing, I was routing for Walt up until Mike, but on second viewing, I stopped routing for him much earlier on.
I loved Hank. :-( He was one of my favourite characters. The scene where Hank's told he is going to work in El Paso and he is smiling with his colleagues, but then when he goes into the lift by himself, he has a panic attack. I thought that was superb acting and showed his vulnerable side. I HATED MARIE and still do.
Have you watched Better Call Saul? AMAZING!!!!
Totally agree. Very emotional too.
It was so sad when <spoiler>Ma Petite got and a few others got murdered<spoiler>
Hi Caeli, I binged all of AHS and Stories this month (watched them for the first time). Which season of Episode 5 are you referring too? S1 (Ba'al) or S2 (Bloody Mary)?
You mean like this :-) lol https://youtu.be/KApUqno3IHw?t=314 Even his enemies cheer for him at the end. Click on play I have saved it from when he gets beaten to a pulp to then finding super strength.
The 80s/90s action films were the best.
'A.W.O.L: Absent Without Leave' - 1990 (known as 'Lionheart' outside the U.K.) Watched it when I was 13 in 1991, which was the start of my crush on JCVD. :-) lol I still love the film today and also had it on VHS back in the day.
After that was 'Kickboxer'(1989). The dance scene is too cringy to watch now as an adult, but back then it was exquisite. :-) LOL
Then
'Double Impact' - Liked it back then, but not a fan now.
'Universal Soldier - LOVED it and still do!! Had a huge crush on Dolph too.
'Bloodsport' - Really liked this film.
'No Where to Run' - A bit cheesy now.
I started to lose interest, crush wise, when I saw 'Time Cop'. Didn't like his hair and got tired of him showing off with his splits. :-) lol
I still like JCVD though. He has a great sense of humour and can make fun of himself.
YES!!!! 13 years too long.
There are a few countries that do International Baccalaureate at school (ages 16 to 18), which is a Diploma that consists of 3x A Levels and 3x AS Levels. You have to do Maths, a Science subject and a Second Language subject but can be at the level the student wants (AS or A), then the student can choose any subject they like for the other 3. On top of this, students have to write a 4000 word essay on anything they like in the final year and they also have to do 50 Hours of Creativity (singing, art, drama etc...), 50 Hours Service (like Charity work) and 50 Hours of Sport/Physical Activity, during their 2 year course. Wonder what Pegg would say if all schools have to do this here. Maybe he would prefer this as it includeds art. :)
:) lol I know. I went against the system. I wanted to end it on the post heist episode for closure. I hope you are enjoying it so far.
Thanks for your order. Similar to mine apart from Blue and White. I'm glad I finished on Pink. <spoiler>Me too and very sad seeing Gus walking off into the tunnel in the Pink episode. :''( I hate that the woman got away with some money. She and her husband were horrible and she murdered someone, so it didn't seem fair. The way she was always late really annoyed me too, like when she had to bring the temperature down for the team. It's as if she wasn't bothered if the alarms went off. Yes happy about the daughter. I thought that was her partner not sister. I could be wrong though. Yes I was shocked too, but do you remember her boss or colleague mentioned people can kill you by a tap on the arm, so when I saw that old man touch her hand, I knew then she was gone.</spoiler>
Overall I did enjoy it and it's fun watching it in any order you want. :)
I really disliked the FBI woman and also the aggressive annoying husband from the Heist team. Giancarlo was so amazing in this show.
