And also, apparently the mastermind who could have broken out of this horribly low-security facility any time he wanted to, decided not to instead, & has just been sitting in a room doing nothing for 20 years, because... it wasn't time for the sequel yet?
God this movie sucked so badly
So the trilogy ends with Shyamalan suddenly killing off the 3 main characters, for the sake of a quick awful twist, that isn’t very fleshed-out, was not all that interesting to begin with, and also is not remotely believable. It’s a cheap, cheesy move, and it doesn’t work on any level. Ironically, GLASS is a bigger disaster than anything Mr. Glass himself could have masterminded.
It doesn’t even match the tone of the previous two films, either. Those films are both dark, gritty, taking place in ‘the real world’; this one is bright, cheesy, & feels fake from beginning to end. Again, it feels more like a SyFy original film or something. This film fails so badly, especially when compared to the original films it attempts to conclude, that I will pretty much just ignore it entirely when I think about Unbreakable, or SPLIT. It’s basically in the same ‘Let’s just pretend this shit didn’t happen’ category as Indiana Jones 4. As far as I’m concerned, it’s not canon; it’s a piece of shit, that should be fired out of a cannon. Preferably, into M. Night’s stupid face.
Other than that, I have no strong feelings on the matter.
I hope you are doing better!
Rock over London, rock on Chicago
Whole season over, no Burr.
Dumb.
If you liked this, read 'War Of The Rats', the book its based on. Much better.
I agree with that, the cinematography & score were wonderful! Definitely want to get the soundtrack/score. Sadly, apparently the composer died shortly after making it. Icelandic fellow, who had a bad reaction to mixing cocaine with some medication. Very sad. He was far too young, & clearly immensely talented.
I respect your opinion... I don't want to change your mind or anything! To each their own, glad you enjoyed. I definitely wanted to like it
Chuck definitely wrote the letter, and if you look at it carefully it was full of highly subtle, very subconscious resentment towards Jimmy. Classic Chuck.
Furthermore, it would be completely out of character for Kim or Howard to forge a letter like that. I've seen other fans floating that theory around too, but I think it's an absurd notion.
Good call on the Stephen King comparison.
Like my father before me, I choose to delete this post.
Episode 8 is the king of television.
The actor has a successful music career in real life, so he doesn't need the show. He was too busy when they were filming this season, so maybe he will be back in the future.
R_Kane, you literally just spelled it "Proofireading".
So sit down, & STFU.

This joke makes about as much sense as this dumb movie. Unless you are somehow posting on the interwebz with an old-timey typewriter, posting on a forum is very quiet.
cool
Did you happen to notice that the mask had a long tube attached to it?
I thought Darkest Hour was a pretty plain, but effective telling of its story. It doesn't do anything grand in the directing aspect of filmmaking, but the performances are so incredibly strong, and the story is so important, that it carries the film to a greater height. Whereas I found Dunkirk to be downright tedious, meandering, disjointed, a failure as a war film. So personally, I much prefer Darkest Hour.
One of the best comedies, period. Oldschool throwback to when a comedy had a real story too. And it's well-rounded. You could watch this with a cool teenager, or your grandmother, and they would both get it.
