Thank you, that really helped. My first reaction was WTF?!! With some thought I came to the conclusion that they were definitely the same person but I was confused anyway... :) your explanation really makes sense. Man I got to tell you, this is a huge disappointment. Why would they make a movie about young Nathan? ... boring. I think it's the way they introduce him that is flawed. He is in Japan, speaks Japanese, has an assistant/collaborator who is Japanese but he is black. One could say he was in Japan because he was working in a case, he speaks the language because he speaks so many others (maybe?) but it kind of doesn't make much sense. And then there are all these Asian people in the background, among students, crowds, everywhere! It seems like they couldn't decide what to do about the cultural background of the story. They should have gone all in and pick at least one Asian actor/actress for the main characters or carry on with the idea that the story is set in America with American characters and leave all the Japanese/Asian references out. I loved the first one, the second one not so much. In fact I wish they had kept Brannagh as director. I like Mark Ruffalo a lot but sincerely I hope it is not very Hulk-centered. If they made a Hulk movie I would gladly watch it, but this is Thor. Come on guys, you should know what you are looking at. This movie belongs to the same universe as Unbreakable (spoilers!!!!!!!: the main guy has superpowers). This is another guy with superpowers born from their own will. If this is absurd for you don't watch the sequel as it is supposed to bring both movies together. If you are aware of this I think it's a wonderful movie. I think the twist is both, the beast is 'real' and Split belongs to the same universe as Unbreakable. is there someone that could have a good chemistry with Jack Nicholson? seriously he's no romance material, not even a weird kind of romance. that's something very annoying and terribly common in movies or TV series. You see 12 years old kids that act as if they were 5. I still remember Buffy's (the vampire slayer) sister that was supposed to be 13/14, I think, eating ice cream smearing it all over her face *eye roll* I watched this picture only recently and maybe I like British humor better because I agree. After the last Star Trek I admit I don't like Simon Pegg that much but this is a funny movie. Meh... I didn't like the fact they left too many things to our interpretation: the Asian guy was taken out in a stretcher but looked dead, was he dead or alive?. Varga at the end was left free or not?. What happened to Juri?. The bad guys were the weakest point this season and the finale just confirmed that. Ray was likeable:dead. Nikki was likeable:dead. Emmit was in the middle: dead. For me the show improved when Wrench made his appearance but the finale was weak. you've got a point there. The bad guys in the other seasons were likeable in some way. Malvo was somehow funny and I found that I felt sympathetic towards some of the Gerhardts. These guys instead? I don't like them at all. I was putting my faith in the minions (the 'couples' of bad guys were funny before) but these are boring AF. I mean they don't add anything to the show. Varga is just plain disgusting. Someone could say 'hey is the bad guy you are supposed to hate him' but the fact that I liked the bad guys is one of the things that made this show great for me. oh, and the lack of humor this season is noticeable. my grandfather left some little notes to my grandmother, they were left in drawers and places so that she found them all into the next three days after he died. She cried a lot at the time but I think she would have cried letter or not. She even found one two years after if I remember well, of course she cried again a lot but I think that she was very grateful to have something new from him even after he wasn't there anymore and now almost 10 years after she keeps them and read them and it doesn't make her sad. I had the same impression you have. I didn't really get what was all that buzz about this guy but I saw Lawless yesterday and yes, he's very good and now I'm looking forward to see more of his work (will tale the advice people is giving you here). I know right?... it's such a pity he didn't get to direct the rest of Thor trilogy. so true! same here, it's one of those movies that I can watch again at least once a year and enjoy it. I'm on episode 4, I like the show a lot but I hope it slows down a bit because I also found it confusing sometimes. yes she is talking with one of the guys that work in the zoo. If you remember the scene where she is taken outside, the guy who helps her talks to another one that we can see at the window, by the face he makes I think he realises that it wasn't a prank but that he really talked with someone who was in trouble.
