Walkie talkie scene

I'm a bit confused by the walkie talkie scene. There's a voice coming out first suggesting she was able to connect to someone outside, but in the end it says something like How did you get one of our walkie talkies, making it sound like she is talking to one of the split characters. But then Hedwig is there and his lips are not moving so who was she actually talking to?

I think maybe it was someone who works at the zoo she was held captive?

yes she is talking with one of the guys that work in the zoo. If you remember the scene where she is taken outside, the guy who helps her talks to another one that we can see at the window, by the face he makes I think he realises that it wasn't a prank but that he really talked with someone who was in trouble.
