Ubisoft's February 9 Conference Call

Apparently during the recent conference call, Ubisoft attributed a significant uptick in the Assassin's Creed back-catalog titles sales to the effects of the movie.

This makes it significantly less likely that the creation of the movie will be a net negative for Ubisoft.

Of course Assassin's Creed was a success because it was a great entertaining movie. People's opinions beat lying critics and paid trolls on this one and Passengers. Critics are full of sh.t.

Good news. Felt like this movie was severely underrated when it came out last year and I def had hopes for a sequel.
