Interesting thoughts, so you're saying that a cousin of Mary and a cousin of John would've had to have two kids, and Sam and Dean's story was passed onto them, but they failed? Why do the demons look different there? That's something else I'm pondering. People have probably already seen this, but I thought I'd put it here anyway. http://jensendaily.org/galeria/displayimage.php?pid=156911&fullsize=1 I have my own question about 12.23. How did Sam and Dean not being born make that other universe the way it was? I don't think that can be right unless they were never supposed to be born in that universe - meaning that the angels had no reason to make sure they were born, like Lucifer was never locked in the cage, because without Dean and Sam, he would have never gotten out. That means he would've had more time to prepare for his war with Michael and the angels, and maybe that's why demons in that universe look different? I don't see how any of that has anything to do with Sam and Dean being born other than by knowing they would be born some day, the angels and demons more or less put their energy into more constructive things, rather than destructive. Like, the angels had to make sure the Winchester family tree matched up the right way going all the way back to Cain and Abel, then make sure the right things happened that would lead to Lucifer getting out of the cage without being hands-on about it, and the demons had to find a way to use the hands-on approach in getting Lucifer out of the cage, so Lucifer being locked away and all of that happened because of the anticipation of a future Dean and Sam some day that the AU didn't have? Or is there something I'm missing? Just thought I'd put this here. This was Shoshannah's answer to whether or not she asked to be killed off because of other commitments. It would appear not. It seems very wrong, and I don't know why they'd do that. If you know you're going to kill a character off and then bring them back, just tell the actor that from the start. Don't play games and say we're killing you off, then wait weeks to tell him that you're bringing him back. Thanks for posting this. I just saw it and was wondering if anyone here had seen it yet. I don't know. Misha said he was told 7 weeks before they finished filming that Cas was going to be killed. They then let him stew in that for a while before telling him he'd be back next season, because he said at JIBCon that only found out much more recently that he'd be back. That doesn't seem very nice. I also think that if they mishandled that, they probably mishandled Mark, and he does have a right to be angry if he truly through he was a part of some family they all talk about the show being BTS. His most recent tweet to Jim Michaels does seem like he's tired of all the b.s. and is telling TPTB to stop screwing with fans by giving them false hope. He's also tweeted this more recently. I think he wants out of the Creation con circuit for some reason, and it'll allow him to do these other cons. Maybe it'll actually be cheaper to see him at one of the others, so it won't be an entirely bad thing? https://twitter.com/Mark_Sheppard/status/867432378553081856 He said he wouldn't be doing anymore Creation cons, but he will still be doing plenty of other cons in 2018. My guess is that once his contract with Creation is up at the end of 2017, Creation would give him a lot less money if he's no longer on the show. No. Monsters go to Purgatory. Demons already got their afterlife when they were transformed in Hell. As far as I know, they don't go anywhere. I don't think angels go anywhere either. The energy of their grace just explodes out of them and returns to the energy of the universe . . . but if they bring Cas back (and not just an AU!Cas), then maybe Dabb will decide that he's been somewhere, and they'll expand on the universe in that way by having him talk about it? I thought this tweet from John Rogers to Mark Sheppard was interesting. https://twitter.com/jonrog1/status/867059806388998144 I think it's terrible for Mark S. that we've gotten nothing from TPTB to say he's gone, no exit interview, just this tweet from Mark S. several days after the fact to say that he's gone. He's a talented man. I'm sure we'll see him in something else. I knew him from other things long before he joined Supernatural, but man, after the years he's spent on the show, and even meeting his wife because of the show, for him to go out like this just doesn't seem right. Also, I think Dabb decided to make Lucifer his self-insert when he brought him back, and we're stuck with him until the end of the show, or until Dabb moves on, whichever happens first.
