Yes and I loved the Saturday morning cartoon when I was a kid. The strip is predictable, but sometimes it's lol funny. Plus, Mondays still suck and lasagna is still good! 😀
You aren't supposed to care about her, you are supposed to care about the second Mrs. DeWinter. It's her story. Maybe that's the one thing that's missing from the movie. In the novel the new Mrs. deWinter is telling you the story in the first person and her first name is never revealed.
There's nothing missing in the movie because the novel doesn't have any sex in it either. The reveal of what happened to Rebecca is slightly different in the book, but the film follows the book almost to the letter. I agree that the plot of the Maltese Falcon is lacking due to Hollywood's censoring, but there were a lot of film adaptations in the production code era that didn't make any sense because they couldn't spell out what really happened.
Rebecca is one of the few film adaptations where the book and movie are on equal footing; in most cases one is much better than the other. Rebecca is both one of my favorite books and one of my favorite movies.
They were both fantastic in their roles. Milner was a known commodity when the show started, McCord was not.
I agree. I also don't like Ben Affleck, but he's probably not "acclaimed". For one who's actually acclaimed I'd say Meryl Streep. I don't hate her, but she's overrated and that Golden Globes political speech was nuts. Never got the hype over George Clooney, either.
Yes to all except department store catalog, but I get catalogs in the mail all the time. My "cable" is actually satellite, but I assume you meant either. Why would anyone get rid of their old photo albums? What did you do with pictures?
Gunsmoke. Bonanza was a cartoon compared to Gunsmoke.
Yes. There are some bad episodes thru out the 20 seasons, but it's a pretty consistently good series til the end.
No I care about breaking up monotony with a variety of action.
Basketball breaks up the monotony of running up and down the court with actually making a basket, not to mention 3 point shots and free throws.
Lol! WTF?
Because it's dull. All they do is run up and down the field. It's fine for little kids, but not for adults.
It's pretty good. I loved it in the 1980s and read the novelization of it many times. I watched it last year for the first time in probably 25 years and was pleasantly surprised at how it holds up. It's better than a lot 80s flicks gen-Xers love.

I deliberately avoided it so I wouldn't be sick of it before the actual funeral. I do plan to DVR the funeral and watch it Monday night.
Because they want to cast bankable stars who have experience in putting butts in seats not young unknowns.
It's a lesson in how to take something exciting and interesting and turn it into a snoozefest.
I hate it. Ellen is obnoxious and I don't like the message.
