I could not disagree more. I had no idea who he was and I thought he was dazzling. And I didn’t even like this movie very much. I thought he was the best part of it. No, it’s pretend smart. It actually just doesn’t make sense. Agreed. My IQ is beyond the 99.9th percentile, but I won’t claim to have this film figured out because that’s impossible. It’s a heap of nonsense. But there are a number of entertaining and cool-looking scenes. “Dark fella”? The problem is that it’s hard to follow but still doesn’t really add up no matter how much work you put into analyzing it. Nolan even lampshades this early on by having a character advise not thinking about it too hard. The most glaring issue is the algorithm. Why break it up and hide it in multiple places instead of just destroying it? These aren’t the indestructible motherboxes from Justice League! Africa?? Only a few thousand miles off. 😼 I’m in American, but whoever it is definitely needs to open their minds. Same here. I am shocked and dismayed that so many people seem to hate this song. What’s not to like? This actually makes sense to me, because I was confused by which of the large breasted women was one of the robbers. And as you say it seems like there were more than four people involved. Which then raises the question of who was not in the car waiting for their leader at the end. I thought about this too. The bigger problem is how you rearrange the supplies. I guess people might think the police took them down to search everywhere and put them back wrong. I’m sure they brought extra clothes. I’m more wondering how they knew they would have a bosomy hostage. (And I found it confusing to figure out which one was the robber, they looked so similar.) I clocked this too! Also that Denzel wasn’t holding his junk which is weird. I too missed this until just now. A real gem. Agreed! Great song, can’t understand why people are trashing it. There were definitely plenty of crimes committed. But I don’t see how they would prove who did what. Every year during Oscars season there is at least one movie like this. I would love to be able to figure out the formula, what it is that gets people so het up over mediocre and forgettable films. I only know her from TED LASSO, where I thought she was not quite hot enough to be this influencer celebrity with a super good looking soccer star as a boyfriend. But I still think she looks better than Mulligan. This. Are they? I did not have that impression. It’s true, she came across as petulant, vain, thin-skinned. It would have been much more classy to just ignore it.
