Spoiler Alert! All you posting are forgetting this....

You all are posting about the plot hole of how the perps could be figured out from the bank employees and customers...But remember when Denzel's character is told by his boss to just drop the case, drop the whole thing, because nothing was taken, therefore "no crime". So, even if he was to figure out who the robbers were - there would be no action taken against them.

Actually they could easily be charged since it is illegal to have a gun in a bank. In fact it is even illegal to imply you have a gun if you are robbing a bank even if you don't physically have one on you and are bluffing. Like writing a note saying you are armed or holding your hand under your shirt implying a weapon. People can get up to twenty years for such a crime. They could also be charged with kidnapping since they held all of those hostages against their will. And also charges of assault since several of the hostages were beaten or thrown to the floor. Heck technically the robbers could be charged with theft since they stole the phones, keys and clothes of the hostages. The fact that no money was taken from the bank doesn't mean they didn't commit several crimes that they absolutely could be charged for. Lawyered!

another unofficial rule of Law as it relates to what sees a courtroom:

"there is what you know and what you can Prove"

Once Dalton/Clive walks out, a week after the fact, there is No real evidence that He personally was ever in the Bank...

the Steves all rotated in and out of the Hostage Rooms.

the diamonds were stolen from a Box that doesn't exist.

Frazier could chase that case until his Grandkids pass the Academy and he would be hard pressed to find proof of what happened let alone who did it.

And that's exactly what covers up every inch of that plot hole. Sure, I understand the posts, it's a fair enough assumption... But the larger agenda is what keeps this case under wraps and that's the key.

No crime? You mean the part where they blew up the first floor, and destroyed the cameras, and incited panic, and took hostages - none of those are crimes? This movie was a joke. It's obvious they didn't know where to go, so they had to rush the ending to hide the plot holes.

Did anyone else notice Denzel's last conversation with the bank owner was heavily edited? They stuck in a picture of his hand with a ring on his middle finger, and slowed down the video to make it look like he's saying "this ring". Then the picture of his hand awkwardly moves down off the screen, and they stuck in more audio about him researching the ring. All of the conversation about the ring was added in post-processing, and wasn't part of the original conversation.

Clearly they had some serious issues with the plot, tone, etc that they didn't realize until after filming wrapped up.

Um, try pulling what they did and see if you’d walk away Scott free. Pretty sure there were several crimes committed.

They all would be going to the joint for a long time. The charges are endless.

There were definitely plenty of crimes committed. But I don’t see how they would prove who did what.
