The audience got only a handful of laughs out of this. Very disappointing-- especially considering RT critics liked it. Something rotten at Rotten Tomatoes. It has maybe 30 minutes of comedy, the rest was like a Saturday Night live skit gone too long. Why would the movie critics social clic review this so high?

the fact that the movie has 120 hours of improv footage only proves that they did not have the humor perfected. and were just going by the motions
with a better script and a more focused story this could be amazing, i almost wish this got remade for the US because the concept is great
the execution sucked. i would have preferred the actors to follow a strict script than just improvising aimlessly like they did

The US would crap all over this and make it completely unfunny. Our remakes have a way of doing that. A lot of this was subtle and amazing humor, which the US is terrible at.
sharenot if the guys behind Superbad and Pineapple express got behind it. Judd Apatow would be able to completely fix this movie and make it much better
shareWe'll have to agree to disagree on that. Apatow is very hit and miss with me. Aside from Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, the first Anchorman, 40 Year Old Virgin, and the first half of Pineapple Express, I find most of the stuff he's involved with to be completely unfunny and repetitive. It's been nearly 10 years since I've fully enjoyed anything he's put his name on. I thought this was perfect the way it was. I love British, Aussie, and Kiwi humor.

It's hard to say there's a single moment in the film as is. I don't see how a US remake could be any less funny.

There's some funny stuff in it but it wasn't consistent enough for me. A definite Python feel to it too (the mundanities of life but seen through extraordinary eyes). It was good but probably could've been better

I´m sorry i have to disagree mate, because TLB looks more like EpTLcD which is close to FRLM, but, despite similarities, FRLM is not as funny as DDPLwWM§§(has the highest score so far). All in all, i really appreciated Wwdits, very funny but, Wpptrlmnbsp takes the cake. Cheers.

I dont know...it had sum TRC crossed w/BFG with a sprinkle of FEJ?..but the ending was more WPM than anything Ive recently watched
