had fun with all the strangers in theater while watch this movie.. I agree that this one is a great old school horror!!

Your faith in old school horror is misplaced if you thought this film was up to much. I'm neither a teen nor in my early 20's and this film was a typical modern ghost/supernatural horror that relied on the one trick of jump scares...all the time. Scares that are accompanied by a very loud sound. It's not creative or original.

This film was boring I'm afraid. If you've seen Insidious and The Conjuring then you've already seen this, only done less well in terms of acting and dialogue.

I'm guessing so, since most of the subject lines are "Ok now i'm royally pissed off" and "Wait...what?" and "for all who are saying the character of mia" and all the other vague, partial sentences.

lol OP...you must be some how retarded if you think this movie is great and even old school great?? Im in my 40s and grew up with GREAT CLASSIC HORROR MOVIES and this isnt even close to great or even good or decent for that matter...this is a poor mans joke on horror classic and its so bad and lame that my old grandmother are turning in her grave of agony...that is how bad this crapfest and joke of a movie is. I warn everyone who havent seen it to not listen to annettes0202, cause she havent got all horses in the stable (figure of speech). This is pure *beep* and the only ones who like this crap must either be mentally handicapped or still be sleeping in the same bed as your parents...cause this movie is full of plot holes, bad actors, bad sound, not scary at all and it doesnt even make sense most of the times and starting side stories without endings (like the kids in the stairs for an example) If you like this, you must be very simple minded...

I'm exactly your age, I saw Scream when I was 16 and I was disappointed by this movie.

I cannot give it more than 5: sure there is worse out there but this one is bad.

So the movie Scream is the landmark you use to exemplify your point of good horror? I don't think so. I was in my late teens when Scream came out and imo, it KILLED all that was good about horror. It put a big far nail in the Slasher genre and it marked the END of a great era of horror.

I'm 32, that said I still think it sucks because I don't think slashing together cliche horror qualifies as a tribute to classic horror. Did it bring anything new or interesting or do something well?, if so let me know I may have been blinking or yawning I'll admit. All I recall was it trying very hard to build suspense and then throwing in some random jump scares.
