Looks pretty good but...

My question is: if it did, who gives a fucking fuck? Would it ruin the movie for you? People these days let the most stupid things ruin movies for them.

I'm pretty sure this is nothing but a big SJW fest. The hero is a transvestite. He creates the GI Joe and Barbie WW2 town as self-therapy after being beaten up by straight white men. He invents strong capable women characters for the Barbie dolls, because, of course, the fact that he likes to wear women's clothing makes him a natural ally of women in their war against domination and oppression by straight white males. The story also subverts the traditionally heterosexual male hobby of collecting WW2 toys, so it is a huge SJW event.

Yea that’s what this looks like. We’ll be getting throat punched with social justice. I’m a fan of Carrell but I’ll be skipping this for sure.

It’s about someone who was violently attacked for being different and in return the movie will expectedly “suggest” that this kind of hate, violence and intolerance is unacceptable. What is this world coming to?! So, fighting for social justice is bad, aye? Of course it is to many like you. And I know, this “trigger word” has been turned into a demeaning term that’s supposedly used to attack whining frostedflakes or whatever (that projection tho).

But clearly many anti-justice pricks get triggered by anything or anyone that speaks truth to power and denounces intolerance... consequently, said pricks retaliate against the meanie social justice warriors. And for those that feel like literally every movie and show out there gets preachy and just can’t be fun entertainment... uh, no. That’s just how attacked the anti-justice crowd feels as a result of all the resistance they see today by non-right wingers. If there is “too many” movies and shows out there promoting evil equality and are critical of fascists... well, in today’s world counterattacking whatever comes out of state tv like FOX and the White House, which millions of suckers and bigots approve of, is the true human thing to do.

Now, if this movie does send messages that offend you... then awesome. The super straight and super duper tough justice-hating crowd will just have to keep on crying because Hollywood ain’t going back to the “good ol’ days” and focus on making films filled with agendas you agree with and happily had for decades. Screw you you whimpering 1950’s saps and your sorry ass anti-SJWs posts.

It does seem like it's pushing the SJW agenda judging from what I read about the movie. It's based on a book, which may have been pushing the agenda in its own right, so not sure about the film. But a crossdresser gets beaten up, loses his memory and creates a world full of strong women could swing either way. Any time I hear the term hate crime, I think of SJW.
