What's your favorite episode?

Not a new question, I know, but people come and go on this board, so new responses over time!

So what is your favorite episode?

For me, the favorite is Meeseeks and Destroy, though there's a few other episodes which are very close to that. I really like the Meeseeks character(s), their silly and crazy behavior, and Morty's world of choice was quite funny.

At the same time, it is also one of the few episodes where Rick is really nice to Morty, without taking credit for it.

The first one I ever saw -- Close Rick-counters of the Third Kind.

I didn't know what I was watching, but by the part about the Machine of Unspeakable Doom, I knew I found my new show.

^this, and I may be in the minority, but I also really liked "Raising Gazorpazorp".

Mine is "Look Who's Purging Now", took a personal favorite song of mine and used it in an awesome and humorous way!

It's not my favorite, but I thought that was a great episode. I'm not sure why it's generally regarded as a weak episode.

Honestly, the only 2 episodes I thought were "ok" were the pilot and Ep 1 of the second season. Everything else was fantastic.

This! The Council of Ricks, the surprisingly touching doofus!Rick and Jerry subplot, the mystery of who was killing the Ricks, the awesome twist ending with the evil genius!Morty (that I hope we see again), what a packed episode. This exchange was one of the most hilarious and clever I've ever seen:

Rick: Not my cup of tea, this place. I say the point of being a Rick is being a Rick.
Rick: Save your anti-Rick speech for the Council of Ricks, terror-Rick.
Rick: Hey, save your Rick rules for the [burps] sheep-Ricks, Rick-pig.
Rick: [Bleep] me, pal.
Rick: [Bleep] you? No, no, no, no, no. [Bleep] me.

Total Rickall would probably come in second for me.

Rixty Minutes. Possibly the funniest segment of TV I have ever seen.

Pride is not the opposite of shame, but its source. True humility is the antidote to shame.

Yeah, that episode was definitely interesting and actually had nice plot aspects too, but I agree with most people in that the second one was not as good.

I loved Mortynight Run it had Morty trying to do the right thing and save a life and has my favorite Jerry storyline also btw has a great song :)

Has to be Total Rickall. So many great characters. I wish Pencilvester was real.

My favorite episodes are "Raising Gazorazorp" from Season 1. Summer is my favorite character and I loved seeing her and Rick in a episode together and would like to see future episodes starring Rick and Summer. My favorite episode from Season 2 is "Mortynight Run". Jerryboree daycare has to be one of the funniest and clever concepts of the series.

Interesting, just with 8 people so far, 7 episodes have been named as favorites (and that's with a couple of people mentioning 2 episodes instead of 1).

Even with a small group of people, it's a decent indicator of how good Rick and Morty is. Not many shows have a lot of episodes considered to be "favorites" - most shows only have a small amount of episodes that get repeated as the best by a lot of people.

But with this so far, it's almost that everyone's favorite episode is unique.

For me it has to be the season 2 closer. So much funny stuff as well as great story stuff. But those are ways in which many tv shows are good. There are also episodes that bend the rules in ways only Rick and Morty do, like Rick potion #9. Love that ending.

If i had to choose only one it would probably have to be Total Rickall.
