Racism??
Does this have not a higher rating because of racist ignorant people that were offended by diversity or is it just a mediocre film and not worthy of my time? I haven't seen the movie and am not throwing shade just really wondering..

I think you can be offended by forced diversity in an historical setting without it meaning you are ignorant, in fact the opposite would be true in this film's case.
That said the Korean guy was one of the more likable characters, and I'd have preferred a white guy (Hawk) to not be in it.
It was an average movie, that went on for too long, and the action was crap. Some small parts better than the original Mag 7, nothing better than 7 sam.
Your first thought was spot on!
shareHow come all 3 white members of the seven die? Seems pretty racist to me.
share"throwing shade" lol How ghetto.
shareThere is nothing "ignorant" about disliking a film based on diversity for the sake of being politically correct. Especially in a climate where the PC brigade trumpet the cultural appropriation theme all day long. Fact is that this film represents Anglo-Celtic American culture, and yet you'd think that Anglo-Amerixcan culture came, not from Americans of British backgrounds, but from African-Americans.
Whine about cultural appropriation, expect a response when the left do it. And they do it all day long with white American cultural norms, pawning them off as Asian, or black or any other racial group under the guise of "diversity" when it's really about a cultural Marxist attempt to falsify history in order to give non-Europeans, and black Americans especially, a sense that they were
"part" of some mainstream American society when they weren't.
Koreans dressed as Anglo-Americans? Give me a break. Where do people think western clothing originated, for example? I can tell you that Chinese and other Asians who came to California in the 1850s and 60s were not wearing western clothing. Cultural appropriation, anyone?
And they weren't because European America WAS American society until the 1970s 80s, ETC.
huh? us racists love Denzel.
sharei love the movie and i could care less about the mix races in the movie...wich i do think its funny/interesting its that the only 3 survivores werent white and all white and the asian guy died...not saying that was racist just i think its kinda funny
i higly reccomend it even if the original its a very good movie and a classic the remake its not bad and a very good film over all
sorry for my bad english
