Why didn't the US return to the moon???
Was there really some mysterious reason why the US didn't return to the moon... or did i take the movie too seriously???

shareTL;DR.
shareWell, if you think we are the only beings in the entire universe; think again. I'm sure there are 1000's of fake UFO sighting, but to believe every single one of them are fake is just ridiculous. I believe some of these crafts are from our or other countries governments. If you think we're the only beings to step foot on our moon, which is million and millions of years old, you're dreaming.
I believe is the Lord, but did he come to us from another world and born from Mary? There are a lot of unanswered questions and we might not get the full truth until we're dead.

I can recommend a good therapist.
shareDon't listen to what other members are saying. They are VERY misinformed. The real reason is because there are an ancient race of gigantic bio-machine like humanoid creatures who are hiding on the dark side of it hoping that a transporter can be built that will teleport their entire race (and planet) to earth in order to begin a hostile take over. But don't worry, I got a yellow 2010 Camaro SS with black racing stripes that means to put an end to this nonsense once and for all...

Your post would be funny if if it weren't so sad.
shareYa sure, we both can... I've got my 2007 Black Mustang. Lets kick their asses!
shareMoney, lack of desire to continue lunar exploration, and the risk involved in the manned-program were the main reasons.
There were no life-forms on the Moon that scared us away.

No mysterious reason, the Apollo programs where very VERY expensive. Billions of dollars back when the US Debt wasn't measured in double digit trillions, and when the military was funding an army to fight a possible WW3. After the first couple landings, people lost interest, which means there congressmen who wanted to get re-elected lost interest, which means NASA lost menu. By the time Apollo 17 was even ready was ready to go NASA's budget had been cut to shreds. They could have built another Saturn 5, if they literally did NOTHING ELSE. Thats the reason NASA has focused on near earth orbit maned missions since the 70's and only unmanned probes for anything further out.
That's also the reason that the Hubbles orbit is the furthest from Earth the space shuttle was able to go, it was just to damn expensive to develop anything that could go further. Hell, NASA tried to develop another "Saturn 5ish" rocket these passed few years and look what happened, they lost all there funding for it and it never got off the ground (pun saddly intended).
The most powerful rocket since the Saturn 5 is an order of magnitude less powerful, and being developed on the cheap (read without a lot of government oversight but with oodles of open source NASA data) by a civilian company, and the only reason that's even gotten started is because a ambitious billionaire felt like doing it.
Anyway, long story short, Moon missions ended because they where expensive, and once the aww wore off no one really wanted to pay billions of bucks for rocks and (admittedly cool) footage of said rocks.
this Cosmic_Casey fella is a great comedian. I was LMAO reading his posts. Hell he should've become a comedian. I'd put him next to Eddie Izzard.
shareSo called Moon landing was all haux
shareBecause someone already owns the Real Estate.
For more on this, check out the material on any of Richard C. Hoagland's websites. He's a former NASA director who wrote a book called "Secret Space"

Oh that's it, Dark Mission. I had no idea why I thought it was Secret Space, my friend showed me the book a while ago and forget the name. I love what Hoagland has to say whenever he's on Coast to Coast AM. He really tells it like it is, and I like how he refers to the aliens as "The In Crowd" and I always thought that was the case, that they aren't aliens at all, but a bunch of real estate investors capable of convenient space travel, and are mining the moon for Helium 3.
reason:
the americans captured hitler first during world war 2 and stalin and the russians want hitler reallyROFLMAOOMGZbad. so the 2 superpowers made a "deal" by allowing the americans to be the first to "land on the moon" by assisting them and giving them all the data accumulated during gagarins` and the other space flight mission the russians did earlier. in return hitler was turned over to stalin where he was tortured night and day until his death, with the signed contract that the "deal" never took place.....
That's a gud story... Could be the perfect setting for an Inglorious Basterds 2!!! The Alternate reality of WWII...
