Is there Gravity on Mars?

It looks like in the trailer there's gravity on Mars. I mean I could accept it in the base, but walking/running on the surface?

Am I missing something or will all be explained in the movie?

Thank you American Educational System for this wonderful question. It made my day.

You're not seriously asking that, right ?? How do you think the real actual NASA Mars Rovers were able to drive around on the red planet if there were NO gravity?? It's a bit hoppity hop for people, but if you are on a large celestial body like mars, there IS gravity ... there's even gravity on the moon ...

reply

glue on the weels =) some ppl are just not for real haha

Are you that stupid to think that Mars has no gravity? I have no respect for people who say such things,
Saying this is almost the same to saying that dinosaurs are still alive or that you just point a big rocket at the Moon and fly it....
My friend said that it is weightlessness on Mars, he was close to death in 3 seconds....

Why do people expalin to this moron why everything with a mass have gravity, just call him stupid and hope he never gets kids.

reply

The most stupid question I've ever heard. But seriously dude, how could Mars not have gravity? Have you seen the Moon landing? Did you ever wonder how on earth did those astronauts stay on the surface?

reply

There is a reason why they invented Velcro before they went to the moon.

That's the whole point of the movie. Something is really wrong on Mars - it has gravity - that's what they're investigating.
Normally, only Earth and Uranus have gravity.
