Worst movie ever?

A stupid guy who tries to bed every woman whom he encounters. Who is also a greedy liar, ready to do anything to get money. In the end he's not changed - tries to bed the third sister (who of course is very happy about that). And he's supposedly the hero whom the watchers (i.e. mostly children) are supposed to praise and learn from? What is the message that this movie is sending? For boys: do whatever you want, cheat etc., you're a hero if you believe in it and everyone will love you. For girls: wait patiently for your hero, and even if he's a cheater (in all meanings of this word) love him nevertheless because he's a great guy.

Can you imagine a movie where a man (let's call him Theodorus) just after one day of knowing a woman cries about a broken heart, goes mad and completely destroys his own life?

I understand that this is a century old story, but please Disney, let it remain in it's grave of history, the only place where it belongs.

Lol, is there ANY movie board here where someone hasn't posted a "worst move ever" thread?.

Save that for actually bad movies, will you?.

This movie was good. Funny, entertaining, endearing characters. Strong feminine characters too (Williamns and Weitz).

It was terrible, but worst movie ever is a bit of a stretch.

Fair enough. But the 1939 movie featured a hero without a brain, one without a heart & one without courage.

In the end he's not changed - tries to bed the third sister (who of course is very happy about that).

The hot-air balloon scene showed growth. Ditto his reactions to the wheelchair girl's wish & porcelain doll's wish.

Your objection appears to be that he's sexual. But that's a good thing.

i've literally seen this message, in one form or another, in every movie i've looked up here. it's pretty hilarious, opinions are like *beep* they often stink. ha ha ho ho. im so funny.

I just want to say that to me, this is one of the worst movies ever made.

I'm not gonna try to explain why I think that because I'd get suicidal just trying to type it out. Actually, just seeing that the movie is rated 6.4 on IMDB is enough to make me look for the nearest piece of rope.

I was extremely disappointed in this film. I don't think Mila Kunis has much emotional depth or artistic range as an actress and in this film it showed. She can carry herself in comedies and would do well in "Wedding Crashers", "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story" type films but I don't believe she's attained a high enough level of skill and technique to move to more involved characters even for a fantasy film like this one. In fact, I already feel bad for the directors of Jupiter Ascending ( and I haven't even seen the film yet) because just based on the trailers that I've seen featuring Mila Kunis, I'm predicting that the movie is not going to do very well. Again, Mila Kunis was chosen to star as the main character for that film and in my opinion she does not have the artistic skill and depth to carry the film. At least not yet....perhaps in a few years she'll develop into a consummate actress?

The same goes for James Franco and his character in Oz the Great and Powerful. I was disappointed with his character. His portrayal of Oz was.....dry and somewhat flat. That's the only way I can describe it. Rachel Weisz as Evanora was the strongest character in the film but even her acting couldn't redeem the movie and make up for the weakness of the other characters. These are just my opinions of course. I'm sure there a lot of people who enjoyed the film.
