Why cast such an ugly actress to play across the iconic and (still!) handsome Harrison Ford?
Every time she came on screen, I was distracted by her appearance, taking me out of the movie. Her huge nose, big forehead, long face, and weird birthmark? on her forehead. I kept thinking it was a shadow, or maybe she got hit in the head in an earlier scene that I missed, but nope, it's a massive birthmark!
I think they were looking for a female Han Solo or Indy, something of a scoundrel, but not a honey trap. To be honest I don't even know what that is.
A handsome womanizing scoundrel is a stereotypical male role, can't imagine the female equivalent. I think that is the problem when they write a woman into a man's role.
I think the easiest possible way is to write Helena into a lesbian, and that is probably what they are going to do, just a simply gender swap.

shareHer looks are irrelevant but I agree she ruined the movie, were we seriously meant to enjoy the character? She was so obnoxious and shallow and her sidekick wasn't much better.
