I'm a little confused too. I thought Anne Boleyn was caucasian (white). Was she really black? It would be extremely strange however given the racial conditions that existed then.. But then again, I don't really know the backstory all that well.

Perhaps she was mixed race?

No, this is just a casting choice.
According to all historical evidence, Anne Boleyn was white/Caucasian, and so were her parents and all her grandparents.
