first look at Bill Skarsgard as Eric Draven

It looks whatever.
Just out of curiosity, why did this whole Skarsgard thing blow up so suddenly? I remember around the time of the IT remake suddenly there were 3-4 Skarsgard people being mentioned in media all the time. I looked it up and the dad played a few roles in movies about as well known as Ronin. What am I missing and why are there Skarsgards in so many movies now?
Stellan been in big movies for decades (mainly support/villain but occasionally lead). stuff like Ronin, Exorcist prequel, King Arthur, Pirates sequels, Mamma Mia, Thor/Avengers, Dune etc
Has 8! children, including:
Alexander - Legend of Tarzan, Kong v Godzilla, Northman
Bill - Pennywise/IT, Deadpool 2, The Crow
Gustaf - Oppenheimer
Has 8! children
Which answers Semi's question "why are there Skarsgards in so many movies now?"
Even so, could you point to some random actor from basically forgettable flicks like Ronin and The Exorcist prequel with several kids and say the same thing? You can't really because minor actors with roles in a few random flicks don't typically find themselves in a family where multiple kids are landing huge acting roles in global theatrical releases left and right. The sudden Skarsgard blitz around the IT remake was real and now they are everywhere.
I'm thinking maybe that name was much more well known in Sweden, where there's probably not a huge amount of actors that have succeeded on an international scale, and then the rest is marketing history. Still it's a pretty unusual occurrence and I'm wondering if anyone else has insight into it.
The Coppolas were and are still everywhere in hollywood. I mean hey Nicolas Cages REAL name is Nicolas Coppola!
shareHe looks too much like a pretty boy raised on caviar instead of a gritty goth Nine Inch Nails fan like the original. I don't buy it.

I notice that illuminati eye on his chest, that symbol is everywhere. Just more subliminal messaging.
