So who thinks this is better than the original?

This movie definitely surprised me pleasantly and Shen was a great villain. However I absolutely loved the whole relationship between Shifu and Tai Lung in the first one so I gotta go with that one.

I'm glad to see people liking it better than the original, it sheds a lot of deserving light on the series. I for one feel that the first is slightly better, but I love them both. I can't wait for the third one.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you. I actually thought the original was better. While it wasn't flawless, it was better structured and more fun than its sequel.

I have to agree. The first one was great fun, but I thought it ended too quickly, and kinda left me with too many questions. The second one was lots of fun, too, and we got to know a bit more about the Furious Five, Po, Mr. Ping, and kung fu in the Pandaverse. Also, we got taken on an emotional rollercoaster ride. I was not the only one in my movie theater who cooed at Baby Po, and fought back tears when Po's mother saved his life by hiding him and sacrificing herself.

The third KFP has giant shoes to fill, IMHO. I'm crossing my fingers...

That's what I thought all through the movie. Much better than the original, being one of the few exceptions where the sequel is superior to the 1st in my opinion.

Count me in as well. I thought the sequel was better too, exceptional in every department. This film also somehow greatly moved me and I was so engrossed, I lost track of time watching it. Now that doesn't often happen to me to be honest.

Part 2 is OK but 1st was awesome with good story and more comedy.
