The World's End was refreshing, hilarious, deep, smart, dynamic and touching at the same time.
How the hell that stupid, pointless movie about idiot celebrities is better than this movie?
Pineapple Express was funny, but This is the End is not even close to it.
I also noticed a pretty big difference in age demographics comparing these movies. Maybe this explains everything.

shareim watching this is the end now. im near the end where they are exorcising Jonah hill. and I have to say this film sucks. not funny. typical rogan stoner humour... that guy needs to grow up and stop acting and writing comedy like hes a 15 year old. this film has been a chore to get through and it is toilet bottom of the barrel humour that falls way below the worlds end charm, satire and wit... and saying that I think the worlds end is the least funny of the 3 pegg and frost films... (not including mainstream 'paul' which I don't think good enough to include with shaun, fuzz and worlds end)
shareI went to the dollar theater thinking it was "this is the end." I think the fact I had no clue what this movie was made it much better for me, but I think it was the most fun I have had watching a movie in a long time.

And This Is the End was pretty funny. That's why it has such a high rating, it's funnier than most mainstream films have been lately, even if the humour was immature and the plot was an afterthought.
"Refreshing" ?? Are you for real? I was a big fan of "spaced" and since then everything Pegg and Frost have done has been nothing but watered down Spaced.
Lets face it they did it for the money. The 7.4 IMDB rating it currently holds is pretty much down to fan-boys not willing to admit this movie was weak sauce.
And as for "This is the End" at least they tried to make a few jokes and didnt take itself too serious.
There was Nothing Deep or Hilarious about Worlds end mate.

Couldn't agree more. These Brits have their head so far up their own ass they won't even admit something that's british is sh*tty.. It's like whatever. And telling that this movie was clever? Are you out of your mind? UGH. At least we know when our movies suck.

I think that its a bit different from This is the End and also better.
