Is Uwe Boll actually improving?

Yeah, he's very slowly getting slightly better. But, unfortunately, very slowly getting better when the starting point was laughably bad doesn't really mean a lot. I mean, at this rate he might be "average" by the time he makes the last film of his career.

Having seen both House of the Dead and then Alone in the Dark and the last film by him Postal (not this one.. came here reading up on it) definitely yes.. and all you bashers do 10x more for him making movies then you realize.. if Ed Wood were alive today he'd be making movies thanks to his hate club..

I think he did a great job on Tunnel Rats. I just finished it and was very impressed. There's a lot of people on this board who bash him, but they're only doing it because it's apparently a "cool" thing to do. I can respect Uwe Boll, there's not many people out there who can write, produce, and direct a film.

I've watched most of his films and enjoyed a majority of them for the mindless entertainment that they are. They aren't Oscar-worthy but that's obviously not what he's going for.

I read a comment that said something along the lines of letting critics see this movie without knowing his name is attached to it to see what they think of it then. Overall a solid effort.
