It seems that Mr. Boll's work is starting to be less... awful! I don't know, but I think he's slowly learning from his mistakes, maybe?

In his previous movies quality didn't matter. Just a 90 minutes movie and thanks to German tax payers (stupid German money) any movie would be a financial success for him.
But the "Stupid German Money" is no more and Tunnel Rats is Boll's first movie produced with Boll's own money. I don't think he learned from his mistakes, he just took more care now... but I also think "less awful" is the best Boll can do. ;)
Without a doubt. He is actually a very good director - and I think the haters are providing him with a publicity vegicle that can only do him good.

It's not that he's improving, it's just that the area of your brain responsible for discerning quality has been slowly melted away by the sheer awfulness of his films.
It's not that he's learning from his mistakes, it's that you refuse to, and continue to watch his filth.
I confess that I've rented almost all of his films now on dvd, though I only make it through about 15 minutes of each before I can't take any more. And I always watch with my protective radiation suit on for safety.
The only reason I do watch is because I believe that the first movie created by Uwe Boll with even a shred of quality will be the first sign of the beginning of the Apocalypse.
I read in an interview that Uwe only makes movies now to give IMDB crybabies something to whine about.

Yeah that would be fun to read what the whiners would have to say about Uwe Boll's films if they had to review them without knowing the director's name, that could be really interesting and entertaining
shareHe was always a bad director and producer but nowhere near as bad as what people and the hivemind were led to believe. I mean, people ragged on him for doing things like entering a room or eating when you've got the same people paying to see other videogame movies that were far far worse but made bank. I don't think he's any good but he's getting better with practice. You make 5 bad movies, your 6th can't be that much worse.

As much as i wanted to hate this film I must say I quite enjoyed it. I believe we needed a *beep* load more character development as when one of these guys died I honestly didn't care. But I found the acting to be acceptable and it had quite a good score. I would have been happier if they kept everything the same but added another hour of character development.
6/10, thats the best I've ever given a Boll Film.

Honestly he should ditch Video Games, because the only times he has made a decent movie it has been Original.
