shareI'm British. I have mixed feelings about the film but ended up rating it 7/10. I found the first half confusing; I realise it was setting out the characters and the scene for the second half but it was all over the place. The second half was better - once the training began with the search for a replacement captain. I found the second half a visceral thrill. I'm surprised to find myself saying that I wanted more violence and never have I enjoyed a woman being called a slut but when Mattias said it to Maria I was thrilled. I'm not sure why I had such perverse feelings ...
The soundtrack rocked as well.
