This movie had me raging it was so bad. I have laughed off bad movies before, but this one takes the cake.

The plot is barely inexistant, and what plot it does have, has so many gaping holes through it that every 2 minutes I was thinkin " they don't seriously expect me to believe this, do they?"

Seriously. Freddy Kreuger and Hellraiser seem much more realistic than this. I would believe those killers in real life than I would the killer in this movie, while these are completely surrealistic settings, and THIS movie could at least be plasive in real life, isn't there something *beep* wrong with that?

The man gets thumped with a chandalier with knifes hanging from it and manages to throw it off, without nicking himself from any of the blades hanging, ignore the multiple cuts and manages to do fine, the protagonist has multiple chances to kill him but doesnt is apparantly a mind reader knowing they would electrocute the floor, and being a small guy, is twice as strong as the ex con who works a far more labourous job?

The other characters have no depth, everybody in it was completely stupid and just arrrrrghhh

Am I supposed to be able to swallow this?

I'm not expecting some amazing plot like Oldboy or something, but I DO expect a belivable plot. Saw was believable, the killings had reasons, and it was all intelligently setup and belieavable in a surrealistic sense.

Horrible, horrible movie.

we liked the movie. sure it became a mess in the end, but two scenes were completely out of pace and it looked as if we watched a parody, with the only difference that it was much funnier than that:

namely the cat and the dog scene.
A cat is full of blood and acid, he throws her to the window, she looks lazily at the string, clean and without bruises, and she decides to step on it and dies. A cat nevertheless who avoids with care all hindrances! We havent laughed so hard in a long while.

Also the scene with the dog where he inserts his muzzle in the bucket and cant escape and is carried with the bucket to his boss and is shot to pieces.

But overall a watchable and suspenseful movie that could have been much better.

Or....he meant the worst. I personally rank it in the top 10 worst movies I've seen...and I've seen some real garbage.

This piece of crap made no sense....and the trap deaths were just too ridiculous. It made every death in the Final Destination series probable.

The girl getting thrown at the wall of spikes.....I did laugh at though.

If this movie was billed as a comedy I probably would bump it up a notch. The animal deaths were pretty hilarious.

Movie is definitely in the top 5 horror movies ever made. You must like stuff like Spy Kids.

Or maybe you do? I like stuff that isn't total make believe....though horror lends itself to the imagination. This movie is for children though.

The girl getting thrown at the wall of spikes was shot like and reminiscent of a Dario Argento death scene. That is why it is one of my favorite parts. Often, this is what the director is going for in The Collector, Dario Argento homage.
