Worst movie I have EVER seen

This movie had me raging it was so bad. I have laughed off bad movies before, but this one takes the cake.

The plot is barely inexistant, and what plot it does have, has so many gaping holes through it that every 2 minutes I was thinkin " they don't seriously expect me to believe this, do they?"

Seriously. Freddy Kreuger and Hellraiser seem much more realistic than this. I would believe those killers in real life than I would the killer in this movie, while these are completely surrealistic settings, and THIS movie could at least be plasive in real life, isn't there something *beep* wrong with that?

The man gets thumped with a chandalier with knifes hanging from it and manages to throw it off, without nicking himself from any of the blades hanging, ignore the multiple cuts and manages to do fine, the protagonist has multiple chances to kill him but doesnt is apparantly a mind reader knowing they would electrocute the floor, and being a small guy, is twice as strong as the ex con who works a far more labourous job?

The other characters have no depth, everybody in it was completely stupid and just arrrrrghhh

Am I supposed to be able to swallow this?

I'm not expecting some amazing plot like Oldboy or something, but I DO expect a belivable plot. Saw was believable, the killings had reasons, and it was all intelligently setup and belieavable in a surrealistic sense.

Horrible, horrible movie.

Well, I completely agree with you that this is one of the worst wastes of my time in my history of movie-watching!

Hey, it's possible I just outgrew the stupid, pointless gore-filled movies I used to enjoy as a youngster. I've gotten older and I know it sounds crazy, but I sort of expect a little logic involved in the stories I watch.

How many of this type of movie have been laughed to scorn and made the butt of jokes because of the absolute implausability of the characters' actions???? I mean really. Who, KNOWING there's a nutjob in the house, EVER turns their back on an open door? Seriously???? And in this one, our "hero" was actually outside the house once!! Did he call for help??? Uh, no. Not until the moron went back INSIDE!

If I find myself screaming at the tv or movie screen during a film like this, it is less likely that it's because the plot is so frightening as it is that I just can't stand one more second of normally intelligent people acting like complete idiots in the face of death and mayhem.

I guess this means I won't be looking for any sequels! LOL! I apologize if my opinion offends anyone reading it, but seriously, this movie and others like it are part of the reason for the creation of the phrase "dumbing down of America". We are smarter than this, folks. We deserve to have our brains stimulated a little more than we settle for. Demand better for yourselves! Stop paying money for this kind of crap.*added note below...

(sigh of relief) THERE! I've said it! LOL!

Have a nice day! :)

*an example of a great movie, filled to the brim with suspence that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire time after the two opposing characters first interact? Duel, directed by Steven Spielberg in 1971. Not a supernatural thriller. A purely human one with barely a drop of blood throughout the entire film. But by the time you get to the end credits, you're sweaty and exhausted from the suspence. One of the best examples of completely intellectual suspense in a movie that I have ever seen! WELL worth the time to look it up and watch it. One of Spielberg's first efforts and it was a television movie-of-the-week, no less. But well worth the big screen. Awesome picture! :)

This movie was ok, 6/10, the plot was pretty bad, the ending was atrocious, the invincibility of the thief and the killer was pretty sad too, the traps were cool and all, the movie was pretty suspenseful too.

The main issues I had a problem with, the cop and that whole scene, he would have immediately called for back up after seeing the body, and how can he miss a dog? A big German Shepard? That whole scene and the ending were beyond awful. And as i stated before, the invincibility of the characters..... wtf...

The killer had a chandelier fall on him, with knifes connected to them, and he just brushed it off like it wasnt anything... the thief went through hell and back... multiple times he was gushing blood from his mouth... a normal human wouldnt have the strength to run, carry a girl, or fight.

I note a lot of people saying the ending was bad. I assume this is because it wasn't a happy ending with flowers and puppies.

Perhaps you should go back to watching the Care Bears or Smurfs (although the Smurfs does have Gargamel who might be scary for you.

Oh come now, it's not as bad as all that. It's a mediocre film at best, but it's hardly the worst ever.

Is it just me, or does every movie on IMDB have a "Worst movie EVER" thread on its message board?

If I want to hear the pitter patter of little feet, I'll put shoes on the dog.

Ah, the invention of the cell phone, and the downfall of horror. Coincidentally happening around the same time frame.

I still enjoyed the movie regardless. Part II has even more plot holes, but I enjoyed that one as well. I guess I'm just a gore hound.
