Ricky Gervais: Yay or Nay?

Ok then, for me Rickey Gervais was the least enjoyable part in this movie. Mind you I went off him a bit when he completely bombed at the Diana concert(Take That could so still do another song)

But I wondered how you felt, so please do tell me, for you was it a Yay or a Nay?

My vote: Nay!

NOT MY DAUGHTER, YOU BITCH!

I thought he was Ok, but then I wasn't familiar with him at all at the time.

Right after watching, I wouldve said Yay.

Now, after having also watched the "bloopers", I'm going to go with Nay. It just seemed that half the bloopers were his "fault"..
Usually I love bloopers, but in this case I just felt embarrassed for him, and it was kind of painful to watch him break down giggling in front of greats like DeNiro.

I don't know, Butchie, instead.

Overall Yay.

Yes, it's a rehash of how he always is but that perfectly suits Ferdy the Fence; so 10/10 to Lucinda Syson for the casting.

Yay, that that annoying, smarmy persona meets its well deserved gory end in this film.

He was almost as funny as DeNiro. the scene with both of them had me laughing a while

At first I couldn't remember where Ricky Gervais was in the movie, then I realized that I was confusing Ricky for Eddie Izzard and promptly remembered what Ricky looked like and one or two of the funny scenes he was in within this film, one of which is when Michelle asks him some questions and then decides to cast a spell on his throat so that he can only speak like a chicken, that was funny and previous to that Ricky's character trying and failing to haggle a good price from Michelle, that too was funny.

Ricky Gayvais: Yay or Nay?
Gay, I'd say.

Yay - I loved the "Extras" reference.

Nay. He had one good idea with The Office and has been recycling variations on David Brent ever since.
