One of the most underrated movies on IMDB

5.7? This movie is the rare (at least in Hollywood these days) film that is both very funny and family friendly at the same time. The innocence in the film and lack of crudeness was so refreshing. A previous poster put it best when stating that they didn't know how anyone couldn't have a massive smile on the face at the end of the film. Like "Napolean Dynamite" a truly Great, innocent and refreshing comedy.

I actually agree for the most part.
The film is gold and absolutely hilarious.

I'm going to burn down the cinema on Nazi night.

Uh, how is the movie funny or innocent? I get the super hot nun chick character for the protaganist in the movie, keeps you lonely single guys with no sense of humor entertained, but what a stink-a-ru movie. Also, you could have the Mexican people in the movie funny and clever, but every character was the exact same from that perspective. What a mahoney.

Couldn't agree more, when I first saw the trailers for this film I thought it would be dumb and geared towards kids, but it ended being one of my favorite comedies of all time. It's a shame it wasn't received better, I laugh out loud every time I watch it.

My wife hates wrestling. She also dislikes Jack Black for the most part. When we rented this, we were both laughing our a$$es off all the way through.
I used to watch wrestling many, many years ago so I was naturally interested in this movie. It looked like dumb fun to me. But I was actually surprised it was actually equal parts silly and equal parts smart humor.

Whats really worrying is there only 0.3 difference in rating between this and benchwarmers. I think a lot people think of it as Jack Black doing the crappy character based comedy ala Sandler or Schneider but it's really not.

This is one of the worst films ever to be released. Totally lacking in pace the editing just left scenes hanging in the air. After leaving the party the two heroes find roughs vandalising their transport - a corncob is thrown and then...............nothing!

Characters are introduced who seem to have major roles but then ..............nothing! Who for example is the mysterious thin old Mexican who appears to support the heroes?

It seems to the product of letting a twelve year old loose with a video camera for his school project.

Complete rubbish.

Totally agree, I really dont get how people cant see the sweetness in this movie. Since its Jarred Hess (that also directed Napoleon Dynamite) - it has unusal tempo, dialog and so on. But as well as in Napoleon Dynamite, you are suppouse to like and enjoy the unusal intresting characters.

I really liked it. Its a 8/10 in my book.
